Last night's event was a washout. Some people have suggested we make it up on this Friday 4 November 2011 - what do you guys think?

I think the remote lockout makes a bike look ugly. I refused to get one. I have lockout on my shocks and only use it on a long smooth climb. Or if I am commuting on the road on my mtb

Is going to be a meeting next week Wednesday evening to discuss start venue and route, probably in Greenside, it would be great to have as many people there to discuss, or, if you cant make it, but want to make suggestions, let me know and I will raise it on your behalf. We are trying to figure out the best place to start/finish, whether we should start at the same place every month, what the route should be etc Once we have a confirmed venue and time I will let everyone know

Next one is tonight!!

The next event is at Chalkboard, 286 Fox Street, Johannesburg at 19h00 / 7pm. It's getting warmer, expect a bigger group!! Hope to see all the regular hubbers and hopefully some new people.

Next event will be 26 August 2011. There is NO WAY it can be cold as hell for the third month in a row, expect more people!

The ride was great, and thanks to all the hubbers that made the effort. Every month the ride improves (every month so far, the ride has been on the coldest night of the month!!) and it's exciting to think what it will be like in the future. Looking forward to 26 August 2011!!!

I did it on a fixie last year. Not so bad, but never before in a race have I prayed for climbs instead of descents.
