Okay thanks for all the input. Will follow some inputs from here. Have already done the handlebar to carbon. Seatpost to follow. And ive bought a set of ztr arch wheels with Agago hubs. Shimano ice tech rotors and a sram xx cassette. Super light for the price!

I prefer shimano. Always used It so know it really well. And its not so helluva expensive to replace!

Howzit guys. I need your input on the following! Im riding a Specialized stumpjumper expert 29er hardtail with the Following specs. Brake set: Formula R1s Front derailleur: Sram X-7 10speed Rear derailleur: Sram X-0 10speed Shift lever set: Sram X-9 trigger Crankset: Custom Sram carbon s-2200 What i want to do is change the whole groupset to XT! Would it be a stupid decision or not. The current ratios are 11-36 at the back and 38-24 up front which really work well! Thanks guys Looking forward to your POSITIVE input

With refernece to Clinton H's post ill rather go and get the Specialized stumpjumper Expert HT. Its a wonderful bike. Just over 10kg and with a good wheelset you'll get it under 10kg. They going for R33000 at FPC now. Add another 5k for wheels and you've got a lekker machine. And the components are really decent spec. I love mine and boy oh boy its fast!

To the OP. there is no worse way to rant on here than to go see linden cycles!

I reckon the start times will change as i see the 70km guys are starting behind the 40km guys. And with that time split it looks like a mass bunch start

Im running A Sram PG 1070 Cassette with an X9 rear Derailluer. Also Sram crank. Sram X9 Shifters. Now since sram Cassettes are so damn expensive can i run an XT cassette?

Doesn't sound right

I did the 40km and really enjoyed it a lot! The top part of the race where the back and forth turns were was good aswell. Got the legs burning to accelerate out the turns. Couldn't really enjoy the single track as slower riders went really slow. Pity tho! But overall a great race.

Where on the Botha ave section did it happen? I saw a few holes on the single track right next to the fence. As this part gets its first rocky area. Right theres the holes. Its not holes per say but serious damaged fence. Its about 100m at most from the stream crossing!

How can riders briefing be at 08h15 and 70km start at 08h00

On the back of the indicator there should be a little cap the size of a R1 coin. Thats it!!! Some have it others dont
