*Stay Safe Alert* Our team has received multiple WhatsApp alerts reporting robberies that appear to be targeting cyclists within Edenvale. The first report came from a cyclist on Horwood Street, Edenvale. The cyclist was ambushed and assaulted by multiple suspects, involving two vehicles. The first vehicle stopped infront of the victim whilst the second (bakkie) stopped to the side of the victim. The suspects quickly overpowered the victim and stole the bike. The second report was from a cyclist in the Edenvale Avenues with a similar modus operandi. We would like to warn all cyclists that this could be a syndicate and that our Investigations Officer is looking into the matter. Please exercise caution when cycling. Try to travel in groups when possible to make yourself less of a target. My HR is working perfect again now. Navworld basically powered down the watch and back up. And it worked again

Hi guys. My 3 HR has recently stopped reading my heart rate. Anyone else experience this?

I was told today by a bike shop that OMNICO suggests buying a new bike and not just the frame. I was told my 6month old lefty 2.0 would not work (dunno why) my 3 month old CZero wheelset would need to be redished (okay granted) and my rear shock would not work (okay so thats changed with internal routing etc) My biggest gripe is why would my lefty not work. This all seems to be bs marketing to sell more bikes

This event has proven to be quite tough. Aome of the descents are seriously insane. Climbing is do able. Just flippen long and tedious. Then the sand is another story.

Finally received my problem solvers mismatch adapters from the UK. Must admit they work really well and real simple too install. Unfortunately I had to buy both sides so now sitting with a redundant LH adapter.

Howzit Hubbers. Im flying people to springbok for the race. I thought it will be a good idea to do it myself. I managed to secure a very late entry for this event. However i will not have any transport in springbok. I need a lift between springbok and Jakkalswater. Is anyone commuting between town and jakkalswater daily. Ive done many rides on Graham Road. Ito security ill be happy to ride there before sunrise. Ill be cautious towards the cars. If you want to ride on the tar make yourself VERY visible

The other day I was selling a ritchey carbon handlebar. At the same time there was a thread about a guy that bought a Ritchey but alas it was more a RICHEY. I get a PM and a guy offers me R500. I advertised it for R1500. He motivates his offer referencing to the fake ritchey thread. Saying these bars have dropped in value due to the negativity from that thread. Now please. Ive been in this industry for about 14 years. I know what goes and what doesnt. And your story was BS and your offer even more ****.

That doesnt always work though. Mate of mine (also a hubber) had a road bike he was selling. That same bike is for sale for 7k more. The new seller has reduced his price as it seems its not an easy sell. I however got someone else to ask him if he is the first owner. He said he was. Thats also very k@k and needs a kick in the balls
