  4. Got these from CRC today.
  5. Anyone know a bike shop or individual in the PTA area that has a bleed kit for formula brakes. If I can buy it or borrow that would be awesome. I just need to shorten the hoses and perform a quick bleed once im done. Thanks Meent

  7. Guys please follow twitter aswell. Im not a tweeter otherwise i would have posted there. We really need to do this properly
  8. As from Cherise's fb page
  9. I totally agree with you. But due to previous topics on the hub I just wanted to throw a bit of sarcasm into the mix!
  10. We need to do this as a mass organised event. It must go down like clock work. Every person that cycles needs to be there.
  11. Burry ek het jou nooit geken nie, maar meenigde kere ontmoet. Altyd so lekker met jou gepraat. Mag jy in vrede rus my maat. Mag die Engele jou n helse "go" gee daar bo. Ek hoor die xc baan daarbo is awesome. Jy word geweldig gemis deur die hele wereld se fietsry kringe. RIP
  12. Oooooo they gonna get flamed . Cant say coloured guys . Eish
  13. Just changed it. But maybe i must also hide behind a nom de plume like yourself!
  14. Ive recently ordered myself a set of formula R1's from CRC. I chose the DHL delivery option. Now that worked excellent until my parcel arrived in SA. Its been in JHB for 4 days now and im getting notifications from DHL that there is a clearance delay. Now my question is how long do the wonderful people at SARS take to release goods. I was really hoping to have these brakes fitted before the new year but that seems to be a dream!
  15. Some serious "boeties" present!
  16. Sjo. Next time i see that coloured kid with the stolen epic i shall not dare ask him where he got it. Dont want to be called a racist.
  17. I did that and got promptly helped. But its still a matter of first impressions!
  18. Ive had this exact same experience when I was there. Sounds like the same salesman to me aswell.
  19. Got it from Epic in Centurion. But yes they also have them.
  20. Well I might be a bit biased but ill choose the Dale. Its an awesome machine. Fast smooth and that lefty is extremely plush. The lefty has got a 200hr service interval which is really not bad. Haven't had any issues with mine. I've upgraded a few things though. Wheelset shifters and brakes. Comes with *** avid brakes. But all in all I'm moer of happy. Remember. Forks are for eating. Lefty's are for real mountain bikes
  21. I'm not to sure what you mean by posting back to yourself. Just pop themin your suitcase or hand luggage
  22. Ive just taken the plunge and ordered a set of R1's limited editions. Just over R4200 for a set. Includes all the extras such as the toolless reach adjust and pad contact point adjust. And ill be getting it in 4 days. Thanks DHL and CRC
  23. I currently run XT's on my bike. They are really good brakes with good feedback. On my previous steed I had formula R1's. Those brakes are super. Never left me out in the cold. I've heard that they don't like wet conditions though. But maybe it could be the pads that weren't suited for the conditions. But XT is great for the price. R1's are a bit more pricey but also very good. Light as well. €400 don't seem to bad a price. There was a set sold here on the hub for R4500 recently. Just make sure they have the tool free reach adjust and the pad contact adjust with them. With that you've got a serious set of brakes that can be set up to the micrometer. Cheers and Merry Christmas
