  1. I recently bought myself a Specialized stumpjumper expert. The bike came stock with a Sid Brain 80mm. Now the question is. Can I use the spacers from my Sid RLT to make it 100mm. If so who is the best person to send this to in the pta area? Cheers Meent
  2. The thing is I have sold numerous amounts off wheels, bikes etc on the hub and unfortunately none of the buyers rated it. Just sold another bike and did the crappy thing of asking the buyer to rate it! So if all buyers would also rate that would be super!!!!!!

  9. Ive got a set of normal QR Mavic SLR's. The thing i want to know can these be converted to fit on a lefty? If ao what bike shop in pta can do that for me? Or would it be better just to buy a new lefty front wheel? Thanks

  11. Howzit People. I'm interested in doing that USN body and lifestyle challenge. I don't want to send picture to the newspapers etc etc but I want to do the whole diet and training plan! So in a nutshell do the exercises and eating plan as per the challenge! Now my question is has any hubbers done this and were the results worth while. I'm not willing to go on all sorts of juices. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

A diesel mechanic but very keen cyclists actually spoke some very true words while refering to you. If i recall correctly he said "daai k@&$ is n volslae idioot. Sleep well.   16. I've got the sterling. Its the nicest helmet I've ever owned. Its extremely comfy and very light. You forget its on your head its so comfy

  21. Hey guys. I'm planning on building a wheelset with XTR hubs with 819 rims. Or is it better to buy the Bontrager wheelset?
  22. Okay. Quickly did a bit of reading up on the SRAM website. Wont it help resetting the pad contact? New pads are just that tad thicker. By adjusting the contact it might help.
  23. Im not to familiar with Avid disc's, but here goes. On my magura marta's I recently fitted new pads. After installation they rubbed. I then consulted the magura manual. In there it said that after installation of new pads some rubbing will be normal. The brakes need to be used for a bit and the pad/piston will find the correct working position. The following is a direct copy from my magura manual. Do not worry when you hear friction between rotor and pads. A slight drag is normal on disc brakes with automatic pad wear adjustment during the break-in period. This drag will disappear after a while. The reason for this is that the brake pads find their optimum working position towards the rotor, only after a slight wear during the break-in period. Slight drag might also happen after a brake pad change or in case of an incorrectly installed wheel. Hope you get sorted
