Just about done compiling so if you have entered you'll get a email today with your seeding. If you not happy with the seeding come to registration and we'll assist where possible. Please chat to other organisers to release result with ID numbers so SAS saseeding.co.za can use that to create more accurate seeding in your region. (Some organisers are quite reluctant)

Yes all distance can enter on registration days. Any additional items like SAS boards will be available there.

Press-Release will go out this week. 4 events around Gauteng in the first year. I'll create a Event page soon when I have all the info!

@Johny Bravo - Mmm... last year the event was part of our series and were approx 10% cheaper. Perhaps it was the additional cost of a day license + SAS Number board Timing Chip + Late fee?

@Johny Bravo - Our fees are here below. They are standard throughout the series countrywide. Perhaps more expensive than some of your local races but cheaper again or on par with most other events in JHB & KZN. Also consider what we offer and in return I don't think it's a bad price. Outside of the organising of the event, this year you receive Nissan Socks, USN Product, event booklet etc Early Bird Entries Fun Ride - R60 Fun Race - R.95-00 Half Marathon - R.170-00 Marathon - R.200-00 Ultra - R.230-00 Normal Online Entries Fun Ride - R65 Fun Race - R.115-00 Half Marathon - R.200-00 Marathon - R.230-00 Ultra - R.260-00

BrandonF - Only the Ultra has been tweaked and only 5km of it. rest will be the same route.

Yes according to the UCI we have to have a manual back-up as well.

All our events are electronically timed. You will be allocated a Permanent number board with timing chip at registration if you don't already own one. more info: www.saseeding.co.za

As long as you make the cut-off for the Ultra will be 6hrs at +-70km...

We had just over a 100 people who didn't pick-up their envelopes (assuming they never drove through) Then of the total starters about 70% finished.

Thanks for the awesome feedback! Glad you liked it! Mpumalanga can have 8 great events and each one can offer something unique and special, but unfortunately we need to think Nationally. (Need to fine tune the Cape & KZN hope to have that sorted by 2015.) Hope to one day have more provincial marathon series going countrywide similar to the Nissan Trailseeker... that feeds the bigger National events. This year I promise Clarens will live up to the expectations we are starting this weekend with major improvements that will see minimal overlap, great trails and distances that are inline with the difficulty expected so that it's more inline with the other national mtb series standard.
