  1. Do any of the chinese brands bring in fat bike frames or complete bikes?

No they don't bring them in, you must do it yourself...

Or get someone that is comfortable with the procedure to do it for you.

They do however manufacture the fat frames, if that is what you where asking.

  2. Just ordered the 650B Super Light Hardtail frames.

Also a set of UAM custom Aero 40mm/56mm wheels for road.

Can't wait to get my hands on them to try out.

Not relying on our postal services so shipping with some other stuff coming from the east, so it will be a project to keep me busy over the holidays.

Which brake pads are best for the carbon clinchers?

Anyone try 25mm or 28mm types on the 27mm rims and what was the difference?

Hope You're going to keep us updated re your build!!! would love to see it

  3. Thanks man! Really happy with how she came out and so far the frame quality looks to be great but will need to put it through proper testing soon!

Go and HAMMER it to up to the block house and down to UCT. That will be proper testing.

You don't have to share but what did the build cost you. Mostly interested in the frame cost and shipping customs etc.

  4. Do the Chinese not make all the frames in any case, much like German cars are manufactured in different other countries to save costs? Could it be that the "brand" being labeled onto the end product is what makes it "cheap" or not? Just asking as a layman.

MOST Bicycle brands are Manufactured in the East but assembled in the Country of the brands origins.

  5. I have had endless problems with my chinese back wheel (50mm deep sections). It was also bought in December with the frame. I have had to pull out of 5 races already because of it. The spokes keep on braking (it breaks where it enters the hub). Have taken it to 2 bike shops to realine, fix and recamber the wheels. Still not sure why it happens. Have also replaced the non-drive side spokes with round spokes (in stead of the bladed spokes it came with). This helped a little bit. A friend of mine also bought a set. he had just as much issues with his (he broke the nipples every time). And yes, they definatily are not that stiff. I personally won't buy chinese again. Racing elites, you need something alot more solid.

    Which Company did you use?

  6. Probenecid (Lannett's Probalan) is a uricosuric drug that increases uric acid excretion in the urine. It is primarily used in treating gout and hyperuricemia.

Probenecid was developed as an alternative to caronamide[1] to competitively inhibit renal excretion of some drugs, thereby increasing their plasma concentration and prolonging their effects.

    Uses[edit]

Probenecid is primarily used to treat gout and hyperuricemia.

During World War II, probenecid was used to extend limited supplies of penicillin,[2] and is still used to increase antibiotic concentrations in serious infections. In one study, probenecid was shown to more than double blood concentrations of oseltamivir (trade name Tamiflu), an antiviral drug used to combat the flu, suggesting this property applies to antivirals, as well.[3]

It has also found use as a masking agent.[4]

    Drug interactions[edit]

Some of the important clinical interactions of probenecid include those with captopril, indomethacin, ketoprofen, ketorolac, naproxen, cephalosporins, quinolones, penicillins, methotrexate, zidovudine, ganciclovir, lorazepam and acyclovir. In all these interactions, the excretion of these drugs is reduced due to probenecid.

    Pharmacology[edit]

In the kidneys, probenecid is filtered at the glomerulus, secreted in the proximal tubule and reabsorbed in the distal tubule.

Probenecid works by interfering with the kidneys' organic anion transporter (OAT), which reclaims uric acid from the urine and returns it to the plasma.[5] If probenecid (an organic acid) is present, the OAT binds preferentially to it (instead of to uric acid), preventing reabsorption of the uric acid. Hence, the urine retains more uric acid, lowering uric acid concentration in the plasma. (This is a good example of a medical usage for competition between substrates transported across cell membranes).

Q: If he remains guilty and receive a ban from the UCI is RSA going to forgive or burn him at the stake?

  7. Cool, that's definitely a fair reason...but you'll probably struggle to for R8k, my 38/50 combo landed last week for a fair amount less than that. Also with novatec hubs, carbon braking surface and Ti skewers.

    Good luck!

Who did you buy from and which shipping did you use.
