Can anyone help me upload a photo of my time trial bike I am riding at Ironman. I tried to upload one but it said it was too big, not sure how to decrease the size of the photo.

Luckily I am off to CT for the 2 oceans on Thurs. 26 days to Ironman and I am running an hour on a frikkin treadmill. I hate riding an indoor trainer so just swimming and running indoors for now. Where can I find info on what the weather patterns are in PE round about Ironman race day (13 April)?

After my Albany bread truck debacle I am thinking you should have kicked ten shades of s**t out of him. Just like we should have done to the lying swine that knocked us over and now claims that he was stopped at the stop street and we cycled into him. We need to stand up for ourselves now.

Contact Big Mig, he is in that line of business. He is sending my bike down to Ironman for me.

I had to go back and look again, I did not even pick up that it was not a Trek. The mind is a powerful thing.. Nice pics.

We had to meet the guy from Albany who is handling our claim at the accident scene today. The reason for this is that the driver now has a totally different story to ours. According to the truck driver he stopped at the stop street and we cycled into his truck. He also alleges that none of us had lights and he never saw us. They are not too sure whether they will entertain the claim but will let us know by Friday. The facts are: he jumped the stop street, he hit us on our side of the road within a metre from the pavement, we all had adequate lighting. Lets hope sanity, honesty and common sense prevails.

No Big Mig this morning but we can understand, a tough week at the expo on your feet and a sub 3 at the "August". Lights were a treat..

I complained the other day about a truck driver. Hope he got a word from his boss. If you guys see a massive glow tomorrow morning before sunrise it is me hitting the road again, 4 lights at the back and a light brighter than a boeing 747 on the front. We got all the boys with serious lighting out on the bikes tomorrow. Hopefully no bread trucks!!!!

Busy watching it now, miserable weather there. 13 riders in a breakaway. yellow jersey in the break. Quite funny to see the pro's dressed like they are for the cold and wet.

Update is that we are to supply the quotes for damages and medical expenses to Albany with all our details and they will lodge a claim with their short term insurance guys. The are also lodging a claim with the RAF. What really upsets me is that the driver has now claimed that he was assaulted by us. Not one finger was laid on him or his two assistants. I wish we had given him a good beating, just to make him realise that he could have left two wives as widows and 3 young children to grow up without fathers. very sad indeed.

Ewep, glad it did not end up in a worst case senario and glad you are with us. I know the Jewish medical co. that you talk about. One of my customers is a "paramedic" for them. I will gladly support your ride. Remember, bikes are replaceable and lives aren't. I wish you a speedy recovery mate.

Going to try get back on the bike tomorrow. The shoulder is very sore so swimming will be tough. Ironman is 5 weeks away so I should be ok, this is a recovery week and then I have my last 2 hard weeks. Just when the training was going well... Happy to be alive!

Two hubbers down in a few hours due to driver stupidity. I was almost taken out this afternoon by a guy driving a tow truck. He jumped a red light and when I brought it to his attention he told me he was going to fast to stop. He went through very late. I told him he should slow down as he was going way to fast and he told me to F*** Off. I phoned his company and reported him. I am tired of the ridiculous behaviour of motorists. Time to whip some a**.

Spoke to the guy in charge of the fleet and all that goes with it like claims and drivers etc and he was very helpful, sympathetic and sounded genuinely concerned and willing to help so we start the process and give him the benefit of the doubt. Other rider is badly bruised and has a very sore neck but nothing broken. Me, bruised and body is starting to get sore. Keep you all posted.

It was an Albany truck and we took all the details, photo's and the drivers name. He is lucky one of the guys didn't beat him up. Will definately take it further.

Wish I was in Kazhak, actually ride in Benoni and Bedfordview. Driver stopped when he hit the pavement. Wouldn't get out of van till one of the riders got very irate.

We got hit by a bread truck this morning who jumped a stop street, cut the corner and hit us on the wrong side of the road. Front rider hurt and bike buggered. I was second wheel and hurt right shoulder, elbow and hip and bike is scratched. It all happened so quick but seemed like it was in slow motion. The guy in front was up there cos he has the strongest lights. I have 2 front lights, 3 back lights but that does nothing when the drivers on our roads don't pay attention and don't give a damn about us. Wife has just phones me to say she has been rear ended by another car on her way back from gym. Today is not a good day.

Prefer last years black D2 Chrono. Would go down nicely at Ironman, if I could ever afford it.

What kit was he wearing? Bike?
