  1. Returning to the social media banter (watch to the end) https://www.instagram.com/reel/ClyjAarq717/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

  3. More details needed 😃 which one? where from? how much? etc 🙂
  4. Some similar discussions, with some options: https://ridewithgps.com/collections/48725?privacy_code=oYJanzrK2rfGhxCz
  5. You can report her posts, which will alert the group admins. You can also then block her, which will hide all her posts from your view.
  6. I'm sure you can, but I've never found it necessary (and I've ridden some fairly chunky gravel with it on).
  7. Some decent Castelli savings: https://www.castelli.co.za/collections/black-november-loyalty
  8. And the resulting routes: https://ridewithgps.com/collections/48725?privacy_code=oYJanzrK2rfGhxCz
  9. May I present the Strava cycling heatmap for the N1 in and out of the CBD 😀
  10. I've done a bit around Stanford. I will say the opening 10k on day 2 are super sandy (was surfing around a bit when I did it). You may want to opt for the road (it's about 3k of tar). Or not, you do you https://www.strava.com/activities/6522475674 https://www.strava.com/activities/6525475864
  11. My LBS did it, I believe they use "Goat's milk", but you can probably use any number of sealants.
  12. Here was my resolution: That said, you can definitely convert the Byways to tubeless, I ran mine tubeless for about 6 months with no issues.
  13. FYI, slight change in parking plans:
  14. Does it count as N+1 if you’re buying the bike for your wife? 😜 Very impressed with the quality of this “cheap” e commuter from Titan Racing. Looks solid, and has decent components. Lots of family rides in the future 😀
  15. Also, Hades SE currently R8k at bike-addict: https://bike-addict.co.za/products/titan-hades-20-se-2022
  16. I'm relatively certain the stock tyres on the Hades SE are not tubeless ready. On my sons, there are the Vee Tire Crown Gem, specifically the MPC compound "natural wall" variety. Looking on their site, this is not listed as tubless ready (it's the dash in the 3rd to last column) https://veetireco.com/product/junior-specialty-crown-gem/
  17. +1 for Titan Hades SE
  18. Non-bottle related logistical question: Where does one park, and is it likely to be a dogshow? Only doing the 109k, so have a later start time, but wondering if there's going to be anything left by the time I arrive if I leave it too late. Edit: Ok, I see parking info is on the website: The second question still stands though...
  19. Looking for a brake lever with reach adjustment for my daughter's 16". Current lever can't be adjusted, which makes it hard for her fingers to get around it. Based in Cape Town.
  20. Wow. Just. Wow.
  21. In addition to that, they didn't do the "normal" Cross Cape route. Have a look a the elevation profile just before they got to FHoek pass, they went up "Rusty Gate", a pass on gravel/goat track that is longer and higher than FHoek pass. 1st bump is Rusty gate, 2nd bump is FHoek Pass: Mind blowing...
  22. Lael didn't start because her partner was sick so they didn't want to make the trip out.

  25. And they're off: https://rhinorun2022.maprogress.com/ Benky with the (very) (very) early lead
