  1. I know exactly which downhill you talking about! Fast rolling with berms in the forest, so sick!
  2. Also loved the route, proper mtb'ing! I took it very easy and enjoyed the experience, some sections were super muddy and nearly came short a couple times. the last 20ks was very testing. hope to ride that route again.
  3. Can we get day passes for these rides?
  4. +-4000 riders, not sure about the rest
  5. Sounds familiar... I got hit with 1200 vat and duty bill for an order of 2000 off crc (helmet and clothes)... Won't do that again!
  6. This event will be the qualifier (Riders 30+) for Marathon World Championships Rainbow Jersey, which is a new World Championship jersey for Masters in their respective 5 year category age groups. Please contact Dellah Paul for more information regarding this. dellah@cyclingsa.com

  16. That section of road is very popular, especially between 5-6pm. I used to do those loops when I had spare time. Sometimes ride to Howard campus and do loops in the forest and do a couple more laps on manning, nice and wide.
  17. Jeez, that jasper 'the flying dutchman' on his old school hardtail titanium bike absolutely motored down those trails.
  18. @nofearnofun how did you manage to KO your rim and helmet?
  19. What an amazing day, had a big jol! Was super unfit so the runs did not go too great but hopefully there will be another event next year. Best part.... Delicious burgers and free beer! great giba vibes.... Worst part... Hearing that I won a fox helmet after I got home.... Bummed!
  20. Ah, sorry I meant stage 1! I never ride the trails in reverse, you can even check my strava. Been a member for a couple years so know the rules
  21. Entered last week, bought a fat tyre for the front and did a test run down stage 2 & 3. Trails are in pristine condition! Need to work on fitness levels though, was buggered after climbing up nicks climb and pedaling hard through the other sections. Gonna try the new enduro trail this weekend. Looks like a sweet piece of single track
  22. Hey Martin, Only a pleasure its a really nice route and hope you enjoy it. There and back will be around 40ks
  23. Totally agree with the last point, Biff is one of the best opening batsmen of all time with an average close to 50, not to mention his record as a captain. Think they are just jealous of his success and his model wife!
  24. Take marine drive, this merges with forest drive passing la Lucia you will eventually take a right up ann abor rd then left onto ypisulanti rd and right onto inca rd going under the m4 keep to right onto david ave then right on aubrey drive at the stop street. Take a left on marion ave past glenashley boys on left then take a left onto Potomac ave riding with the m4 on the left, at the turning circle keep to left and go under the M4 and take a right onto fairway drive (Virginia airport in front). Carry on until the end of Fairway drive take a right and then left and left again passing the engen garage on the right. Carry on passing the pick n pay on the right. Take a first left turn over the bridge and ride onto the m4 over the Umgeni river and take the first turnoff, take right at the stop street and a left at the robots passing Durban country club and the stadium on the right.
