  1. Thanks guys I haven't cycled since last weekend... So sad... Hahaha I will start cycling soon though
  2. Hi my name is DJ. If u r in CT, u might see me at least once either on the road or at any race!! Maybe not.... ???? Im from South Korea and i started cycling 3 maybe 4 years ago in Capr Town. Before I didnt know how to cycle!!!! -0- Anyway I enjoyed it so much and met lots of good people as well!! I have been in CT for almost 6 years but unfortunately i have to leave this country today.. I wish I could work and stay in CT forever!! I will leave with full of awesome memories today and i will be back as soon as possible.. Be safe on the road guys!!! Ps. I will be in South Korea so if u need any help, please let me know i will try my best for all my SA bros and sisis hahahaha
  3. PPA guy said that MTN guys will come to CT and do DC.... I hope they dont push too hard hahahaha
  4. To uae 32T u need to change ur pully(?) to a long one if u have a normally one now. If u have a standard crank set, rather change that to compact and use 12-28. Bec if u use 32T this means that ur gear ratio is bad on the flat road.

My worst day ever. 1. I set up the map in my car gps last Saturday night bec i didnt wanna be late and it didnt work in the race morning.. I found the address and set it up on my cell phone then suddenly car gps started talking to me direction.. 2. Unfortunate accident.. RIP.. 3. I didnt bring my sunblock..( thank you, CTG guys) 4. After Registered and waiting for toilet, I realized that my gloves were in the car... I had to run to my car.. 5. Missed my team bec i was late. So i had to catch them. Fortunately only 3min gap 6. I caught them. But i fell... lost them again. 7. 40mim TT to catch my group again..and I caught them again 8. I put Hammer stuff in my bottle before giving my bottle to one of water bottle guy but the guy put too much water.. So the stuff's gone hahahaha 9. Big Toes pain (too much pain, any idea?) and cramping both legs 10. Damn not enough nutritions..supposed to have more than enough foods But at the water point my Hammer stuff's almost gone. 11. I wish i had one more energy bar in my pocket. i tried to check and my thumb was cut by phone case.. Never happened it before.. 12. Kept cramping and toes pain. Wow... What a day.
  6. Not huge difference, but it could save ur energy when u do a long ride. Especially if u use 20,19,18,17,16 those guys a lot. For example If u dont have 18 one, u can still have a choice either 19 with a bit high cadence which ur heart is not happy or 17 with a bit low cadence which ur legs are not happy. This means that if u have 18 u can use ur power more effectively and comfortably. i had 12-28 but u sold it and use 12-25 now. Maybe im not a strong cyclist so maybe i want to have more density gear ratio(?) then 20,18,16th... Hahaha And i think 11speed is slightly lighter. (im not 100% sure).
  7. I heard that in Sout Africa there are lots of animals but i naver heard about that the animals can drive. But seem like some animals can drive so Weird????
  8. A right fitting.( most important thing u have to do) Quality of time on saddle(not just a long ride, intensity is very important) And enjoy ur time. No stress. Ps. Buy a damn good bike and wheel set.
  9. In South Korea, we can record a video or take pictures send tthat too Police if a car pass u too close or threat you, then Police send the driver R300-500 fine and penalty which if u get curtain amount of penalty , ur license will be cancelled, Hahaha maybe SA needs it too.
  10. That's in my country ..? Wow.. I have never seen it before especially in my country;;;;( not China, im from South Korea)
  11. Cyclesure!!! I joined them and just next day i fell-_-;;;; That's so unfortunate but they paid all!!!! That's more than 20k... Of course i pay a lot. But i feel much safer
  12. Go for Garmin. U cant compare between iphone and garmin.
  13. Either check strava setting or garmin setting..?
  14. I did a bikefit lots of times in CT. Im not satisfied with any.. Even they didnt know how to make my saddle right. Hahaha... But i know fitting is very important. That's why i keep trying.. Im still looking for the right position... :'(
