  1. Hi, We have Sunday Group rides leaving Smuts House @ 6:30AM. The rides are not race pace and also not snail pace. We wait for this and stay in the group. This is an attempt to up the numbers a bit due to the recent hi-jacking in the surrounding areas... So please feel free to join us. PM me your number for the ride notification and RSVP. Thanks, Paul The following is essentail: Rules of the ride: ? Wear a helmet and MTB shoes. ? Look after your bike. Avoidable mechanical failure is a sure way of staying with your buddies. ? Mechanical failure is part of MTB. Carry a spare tube, derailer hanger, tyre levers and a puncture repair kit. ? Make sure you have sufficient nutrition for the length of your ride (+-3 hours, +- 50km) bring a breakfast bar for the half way snack. ? Carry cell phone and put Walker's(Ride Captain) number on your phone. ? Respect our nature...
  2. in all honesty - I don't have much time for bikers as they do just as they please on the roads... I'm also not referring to the above incident but actual people riding with thinkbike jackets!!! FK

  6. sorry to hear about ur encounter with the worse kind of people but not much u can do. Even if we go out riding in a bunch with as many as 10 peeps. . . . Someone always at the back or cant keep up. Ill try and drop some more SWAT spray aj grants. U can carry it on ur chest strap.
  7. remove the bar ends. what pedals are you using? cut off the excess seatpost - must be at least 100mm into the frame.

  9. I agree fully. If you ride along side the road - all it takes is for a motorist to take his eyes off the road, change a cd or look in the rear view mirror and *BANG* there you go...

  13. I had a problem with my mud guard - bracket cracked - no crash or any bumps etc ... wants me to pay for replacement.
