    Nice change!
  2. Any updates?
  3. There must be someway to set up an operation with a tracking device in a bike and see where they're taking them? Only way I can see for them to get rid of the bikes is like a 'chop-shop' - split it up and sell as parts, not complete bike.
  4. I used a single Magicshine on my handlebars (forgot my 2nd one at home for my helmet) at the 24hr. Used it on medium setting and worked brilliantly. Best value for your money I think.

It might only be $5 more for lights, but looks like shipping cost adds a lot more!

Oh well, at the price I was willing to take the risk. From speaking to other people it sounded like they would get here eventually. 2weeks was very good. Maybe I just got lucky, but that's fine with me. As for the Magicshine lights, if they don't last forever that's also ok - at R1700 for a handlebar and helmet light setup with extra battery and cables, I can't find anything else that comes close in value for money. I guess it depends what conditions they're being used in and how often they're being used, but it's worth a shot... If I have a problem, I'll write it down here...

Clearing 0119616038/9 Counter 0119616028 0119616026/7/8 0119616006-10 One of the numbers usually works. The post-office is sort of opposite emperor's palace.

Came in two parcels on same day. I always phone the airport post-office to get the local tracking number once parcels arrive and then intercept it there before they send it out. Saves 3days. Just had to pay the standard R25 clearance per parcel, Vat and show my proof of purchase (because I didn't realiose I asked DX not to include it with parcel).

No need for bulk order - free shipping whatever you order. They split the order into smaller packages - so you end up paying R25 clearance for each package (my delivery was 2 packages - 2 lights in each package)

  23. Been trying out run.gps on my HTC TyTnII - it's very cool! http://www.rungps.net/wiki/HomeEN You can download free street maps for it from openstreetmap.org through the program, and have real-time internet tracking via gprs. And you can upload your training to a few sites - I use http://www.gps-sport.net/ (and you can view your training routes on googlemaps and see other people's training routes) Some of my uploaded runs playing around with run.GPS: http://www.gps-sport.net/users/ridr Wrong hyperlink! This one works... http://www.gps-sport.net/users/ridr ridr2009-06-01 14:22:44
  24. The GearUp guys that make BikeSafe travel boxes also make wheelbags, chain covers and kit bags... http://www.gearup.co.za/prodview.asp?ID=16&UserID=23 or http://www.bikesafe.co.za/products-and-pricing/ ridr2009-05-20 13:21:36
  25. For WM6 you can try Run.GPS. Also has bluetooth HRM functionality (check Zephyr HRM or HxM). Battery life probably won't be great with GPS and bluetooth running. ridr2009-05-01 04:41:17
