John, do you think that is the main reason for the stomach issues at epic? I am very keen to find out, i had the stomach "bug" last year and had to suffer the last 2 days with it. Then for net year will do the carb intake differently and prep my gut.

I am no mechanic, but would think that u did not push the pistons in deep enough. You will have to push the pads in deeper into the block.

At last after a few months of really k*k living with floors chopped out, holes in walls for doors and house unlockable at night we are 99% done , doing last bit of painting outside, the transformation lets me forget about all the pain we went through...

What i would like to see they change is getting rid of the cheap porta loo's and getting a few of thise executive trailer loo's. With the money you pay and want to use a lekker loo....

My 4th one and have to say it was brutal, this ons hurts very deep. Maybe i just forgot how much the other hurts, also did the last 2 stages with a stomach bug , that just sucked big time had no power and had to take loo breaks en route. Had a high fever friday night and had to get pills from medi clinic sat morning and almost got pulled luckily i broke my fever with panados. One thing that irritated me is that the route profile for each day was incorrect and elevation gain was incorrect , like stage 2 we were supposed to climb 2350, but ended almost on 3000m and that is from 4 of us 2 x garmin and 2 x suunto. i can se they are cutting costs each year..

Lekker , i know the nek, went up there in 2013.. It is tough yes. but doable... No one worried about stage 2 yet? 38 degrees..

ah ok... i see was it hard? I see there is a big climb ( walk ) in the early stages? Stage 2 is going to be a hottie of note
