  2. Pedal Power Association 1 hr · Cape Town · Journey for Sight Update: Dear members and committed cyclists. We do understand your frustration about Journey for Sight being rescheduled for the 7th of February and that there would be 2 events on the same weekend. To try and move an event to another date, without having to lodge new event applications with the City,is not a simple matter. Approved applications can't simply be transferred. We had the 7th reserved for Bay City, but the organisers couldn't decide whether to put ...the event on or not. We are now working with the organisers of the Bay City to host the event later, possibly in March. We have looked at the comments received on this platform, by phone and email and we are trying to accommodate your demand to not have the Journey for Sight on the weekend of the 99er. We will only know by Monday or Tuesday whether the start/finish venue is available for the 14th of February. We have spoken to one of the managers at the Fishoek Sports Complex and, requesting the facilities for the 14th of February. He is taking the request to his committee and said he will get back to us by next week. We will communicate the outcome as soon as we have their reply.

  4. CSA have the ability to sanction the racing element of the CTCT and receive levies for that portion of the riders but CSA wants levies for all the riders .This would not be fair to the majority who ride the Cycle Tour for fun. CSA have sacrificed the racing cyclists purely because they are greedy.
  5. This will be fixed on Monday , only some teams work on weekend not all the staff.

  12. This is not just normal green paint, can you imagine normal green paint in the rain ?
  13. I am told this route drains well , gravel not mud.
  14. I have been negotiating on behalf of the PPA in regard to this with Sanparks. 1. As cycling is an activity you are required to have an activity card to cycle in Cape Point . 2. If you already have a Wild card you still have cycling access until January. 3. By January you will have had 1 years notice that activity cards will be required. 4. The MTB tokai activity card is the same card and the same card works for all TMNP. 5. If you are cycling into the reserve you do not need a Wild card. Regards Gary
