ja, its still here. depending on how the wind blows you can either smell the lovely mars bars being made ,or if it blows the other way you smell the sh@t at the sewage plant.

Nice one Danlate...don't see any mud spots on the bike. Don't they come standard in the UK or is it an add on? Scalpel, after i read of all the scalpels breaking chainstays, it put me off cannondale. Fish, we have real mud here, not like the guys in sandton...

i live in the uk, and also placed an order last week, xo rear mech, cassette and chain. a day later i ordered a stem. the stem arrived in 2 days. im still waiting for the mech, chain and cassette. sent them 2 emails this week, and each time they reply that the flood sale made it very busy for them and they have a backlog of orders. the f@ckers already have my money. i hope they have not sold me something that they dont actually have in stock, coz i dont want the money back, i want the stuff i orderd because it was a bargain and a half!!

hard? not sure how to answer that. but the uk conditions make it a lot harder, we didnt realy have a summer this year, it rained all the time. i ride at least 2 times a week in hard off road conditions, and other wise use the bike for commuting everyday. so its have seen a fair amount of use. and they still perform great. im sure it will wear out eventually, but for time being its working great.

i don't know what all of you guys are on about, i have had mine for almost a year now and never any problems. still shifts as good as it did from day one. and our conditions here are less than ideal, lots of mud and rain. ive never even lubed the cables. maybe just my good luck. im going to order some for my new anthem x im building.

awesome man! im going to order one of those frames/bikes very soon! have you ridden the old anthem? how do it compare with the x?

i second mampara, get a hope or chris king. race face is not worth it, they last just as long as shimano.
