i almost died. went over my handle bars twice front derailer didnt work, and never had so much mud on me before. if i wasnt doing the epic next year i would have skipped the race. really keen to try that route in the dry, thinking it would have been a completely different race then.
breaks my heart reading this. hope he has a speedy recovery.... we should be able to ride on any public road without having to worry about this but its unfortunate we have to live like this. really wish things would get better... but ya....
sorry agent to bum off your post but ive got a 26"HT bike at home doing nothing. only doing marathons at the moment so using the 29r, you guys and gals think it will be worth converting the 26" HT to a 650B????

welcome to the world of cycling, best advise i can give is to have fun dude!!! eventually you will be having such a joll on your bike you wont even realize you just did 100kms and lost 30kgs. we ride and keep riding because we love it and enjoy it. you will too. good luck dude!! hope you have a joll!!
