Can someone please tell me how I can determine the stack height of a colnago master frame? They don’t publish this measurement and I can’t find it on google.
None at all
I wonder when? The Venge is looking a bit dated compared to other aero road frames. No integrated brakes etc.
any word on a next generation Venge?
I've got a venge and a Tarmac. If you're only having one bike the Tarmac wins hands down.
That's the guy. Thank you.
Hello
Apparently there is a guy in Pinetown (KZN) who is a mamba at repairing carbon. Does anyone have his details?
Cheers
Did a really awesome ride on the spruit this morning but something really got me upset.
I saw about 4 people cycling without helmets.
There was even one idiot without a helmet but had massive earphones on so he could not hear us wanting to pass.
I know the spruit is not technical but these guys are giving other cyclists a bad name.
I understand there are loads of new riders and what I like to call "new years resolutionists" but common people.
What's the protocol when you come across guys like this?
WGAF - seriously.
Camerons.... if you dont mind me asking? Where/who can we get 101's from here in KZN.... and what can i exect to pay roughly?
Have you ridden them yet?
Cheers
Not at all. I got mine from a buddy who owns a bike shop in JHB so I got myself a bit of a deal. The cheapest I have seen them is on the buycycle.co.za website for R10100 which is pretty good. I think the RRP is about R13k. I'm pretty sure that although most shops in KZN won't have stock they will be able to order them for you. Try Chainworks in Umhlanga or even Zululand cycles in Ballito does Zipp.
I've not received them yet. I only ordered them yesterday but reports are that they are pretty nice.
There was a lady selling a Specialized Amira on here but I can't find the advert anymore so it's either been sold or the ad has expired. If anyone knows who it was please let me know as I have a friend looking for one.
Thanks
How long until we read the headline "Chris Froome bust"?
Sheeesh.....you okes need to stop worrying about whatever everyone else's $h!t looks like and focus more on enjoying yourself on your own bike
The most important thing about road riding is how you look on the bike and of course how your bike looks. Fact. Sometimes I just ride straight to the coffee shop just to pose. I hate getting dirty and sweaty before hand. Ruins my euro-pro image that I have of myself.
In an era when every single (just about) exceptional rider has so far been exposed as a doper it is naive to think that Jens does not. Doesn't mean I don't like him. He just isn't clean.
I'm a huge Jens fan but I the idea that he never doped is extremely hard to swallow, even coming from him. I totally understand why he would come out and deny it but frankly I doubt it.
I agree 100%. The way he can sit on the front day after day and go on mad attacks all the time... says only one thing to me.
I've got a Garmin 40something. It is brilliant but is let down by a 6 hour battery life when in use. This makes it less than ideal for IM racing as it only last half (depending on how fast you are) the race. In the races I've done I've had to use two and switch in transition which is crap. So... my point is whatever you get check the battery is good enough to last you an entire race or buy two.
the okes at the Specialized store in Waterfall are great.
Inwill be complaining for sure. I am furious there was no coverage. I am pretty sure I saw them advertising it earlier in the week as well. Pathetic.
