  1. Nice pics, Thug! Has Hog surfaced yet? His rear derailleoure got tangled with the chain and cassette and drop-out. We tried to convert to single-speed, but it rather turned out speed-less. The he was gone.
  2. I've cycled there. Awesome place. Nice pics.

  5. what was the temp?
  6. The last mine/dump/ride was verrrry cold. So cold I got sick and from what I've read some of the ppl that went also got sick. Someone at work told me today that it is toxic to cycle in those places. True? False?
  7. Rudie, There should be only two nuts on each side and of the same width. It's only the spacers that may be of a different width. Normally the thicker one goes on the left side. You need to loosen everything in order to adjust the cones to center the wheel again. The order is normally cone, washer, spacer, nut. Next time you service your hub loosen the left side only and leav the right side (the cassette side) intact so you don't have centering problems. I hope it helps.
  8. amateur, the ride is really not that bad (unless HR decides to change the route).
  9. I was watching suppercycling last night and a guy with an irritating pseudo-american eccent was saying that the temperetures inside discs brakes get so high that it can burn the grease inside the H.U.B and make the break fluid boil. If that the case, why have them?

  18. Hey, has anyone got some skipping routines for us cyclists? I skipped for 30 min on Saturday but now my calves are so sore I don't even feel like cycling! I suppose it will get better with time. Anyone has got skipping as part of their training?

  22. Thanks Johan. So then on a slope, the descender must move left, leaving the ascender freedom to continue as he/she was on the singletrack. Obviously within reason. Wonder if they move left or right of ascenders on northern hemisphere trails? The seasons are all the way around, so yes.
