  4. Its simple, build your wife a bike you know full well she is never going to use. "honestly hun ...I bought these wheels/ saddle/ etc. for ÿour bike..." easy as pie then you put all the upgrade stuff on your real bike and the other goodies on her bike ! (just chuck the slips from Solly's away before you get home)

  13. I ordered wheels from CRC. They landed in RSA within the few days as promised. But then had to collect at the good old airport post office, gys told me they could not find the address. Well thank goodness for the tracking number, but poor service from our team.

  15. My old aluminium Bianchi is lighter than a rather expensive new carbon Bianchi. As every one says spend money on the wheels, that will shave off some time. I rebuilt an old carbon to see there was a difference in road buzz, both bikes are from around 2005 era. no real difference in ride, the carbon is actually a bit hevier, but feels lighter.
  16. Yes I agree, even my spouse noticed the change and she knows little of the ways of the bicycle...!
  17. 26er, 29er, soft tail, hard tail.....all look like over grown BMX's to me. Now we all know what they say about BMX's don't we... So when are you guys going to put slicks on those thar 10 speed 29ers and feed your iron steads some carbon?
