  1. Well done - How did u do it in app 2.5 odd years....?
  2. Wow - looks good Congrats Almost as nice as my Carbon / Titanium Tissot.. T Touch... For all weight weenies - who MTB and Who could get lost T-Touch Titanium Collection by Tissot. T33.7.898.92 Polished solid Titanium case. Soft black rubber strap Carbon weave black dial with black and white hands and markers. Luminous hands and markers. Rotating bezel. Pressing the center button activates the glass. Touching the corresponding label of the desired function will activate it. The glass will be deactivated after 30 seconds of inactivity. Chronograph Function - Chrono Function with split time capability. Barometer Function - The hands on the watch will superimpose to indicate the variance in the atmospheric pressure. The T-Touch measures these variations to indicate the meteorological trend. When the atmospheric pressure rises, the skies clear. The hands will move toward the right. When the atmospheric pressure decreases, it becomes cloudy. The hands will move toward the left. The digital display will give the absolute pressure in hectoPascal. Altimeter Function - When the altimeter function is activated, the watch is turned into a barometric altimeter and displays the altitude in relation to average sea level. The T-Touch Multi-function can be set to display the altitude in meters or feet. Thermometer Function - The T-Touch is able to display the temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit while in the thermometer mode. For the most accurate temperature measurements, the watch should be removed from the wrist for at least 15 minutes so that body temperature does not effect the reading. Compass Function - While in the compass mode, the T-Touch with the minute hand indicates the geographical North Pole taking into consideration the magnetic deviation. The T-Touch Multi-function will indicate the degree of magnetic deviation between the geographic and magnetic North Pole on the digital display. Alarm Function - 24 hour alarm function with acoustic alarm. Precise Swiss Quartz movement. Scratch resistant Sapphire crystal. Water resistant to 30m. Case measures 42mm diameter by 13mm thick. 24 Months Limited Warranty.
  3. Last time wife and I turned up for the ride... no one else did... She was not amused, was a bit p***ed that I got her out of bed and ready for a ride, which was badly planned and never took place, I ended up at Groenkloof.. doing a 30 km ride... She vowed to never do this group ride again...

  10. I ride a KHS Mtb.. The bolt is loose...... and refitted.. no prob...
  11. I hope its just threads..
  12. Hi Why would a stem bolt - (Pinch BOLT) make a snapping sound when loosening? The steerer is carbon and the stem is scandium... Any ideas, I know from working on motors - this is usually the threads loosening, but on a bicycle ???????????????/NEWBY00072009-09-09 04:31:14
  13. MY HUMBLE OU TOPPIE OPINION We all think that our Bike is the bees Knees.. I would hope If we could all afford the best bike - we would all have the same...bike So in my HO - you buy what you can afford, and then make it " bling"to your taste .....and as good as you can without going bankrupt.. The Best rider, again - we all believe deep down - we are the best That is until we hit a rocky decent or a drop off.. then .....
  14. Thanks Will get hold of your contact Cat-I Spano - will check out the Web Thanks

  19. Hi I would like some advice on where I Can ride XC Mtb in Potch? Some place like MTN park Rietvlei or Fountains.
  20. Yep - Or Lx - Can you do second hand or is it all new?
  21. UM Ok so no one is better than the other..... Looks like I will have to use my own opinion here.. My XT'S work great - hauling my 98kg to a stop down hills etc.. I am looking to replace my wifes brakes - and want her to have great braking too, currently her mech disc brakes fade - and struggle to pull her minute 47Kg to a stop... I will rethink the whole thing... I want simple easy excellent brakes which will work for her.. Looks like Shimano is tops on that score...
  22. Ok thanks Looks like XT has the edge over Avids.. But only just
  23. Hi Which hyd disc brakes are better \ Best Avid juicy 5 Avid juicy 7 Shimano XT I have an idea would like ure advice hubbers
  24. If I can find my 1980 SUMMIT BMX this could work That thing was made of HT STEEL of note with Chrome Moly somewhere in the mix.. I crashed more on her than I can remember.. before we had nice tracks, built - we raced in the veld and once a week at Brikor in Edenvale The Frame never flinched, my stitches count was 300 + Before I got too tall for her.. I think some guy is still riding her - in Midrand 25years later..
  25. This is my master plan= I must loose 12 Kg and get back to my weight 20 years ago when i was 23... (getting older sucks ) Even more so now since my wife climbs like a mountain goat.. I have taken 7 years to get her Mtbing with me - Sat on her second try with me - She climbs like "Contador" When I eventually caught her on the down side, of the climb 10 min later She Says " I hate hills so had to make it end as quickly as possible" Who knew - I married a king of the mtns who weighs in at 46Kg climbs like a mountain goat god.. I need to loose the bulge... But more important I want to make my Hardtail weight weenie bling Just cos I can
