  1. Nowhere?
  2. Or maybe he stumbled upon this forum, decided to post his survey as is, thinking them saffers are dead beat anyway not expecting much of a response. Certainly not such an enthusiastic one. I say give him a chance to “redeem” himself. By that I mean he must go to the Tri-Nations test in Dunedin on September 15 wearing a Springbok jersey. And replace the following: “I am dedicated addicted to being a user of theHubSA Slowtwitch forum.”
  3. My office firewall wouldn't open that link. Some of these free on-line survey sites reads like spam though. Byung, out of interest Do you mind sharing a little bit more about your Abstract/Hypothesis if you don't mind.
  4. Sounds like I'm gonna get poked on it. I'm 10cm shorter.
  5. Is it your old ride? What's your length?
  6. 54/56. Will be down for about 2 weeks. Don't feel like couriering my bike down there. Doesnt have to be anything snazzy. Just looking to kill some time and if it's not to cold use it as a training week.
  7. Just a road bike
  8. Where to rent a cycle in PE for a few days. Anybody know?
  9. Or just do a circular route. Much more efficient. I can't believe we're sitting here chatting about this. Surely "ons sit die pot miss somewhere" there's got to be some logic to the way they've set up his race.
  10. It's the same issue with the Comrades. when my sister lived in Durban she always accomodated family/friends and then have to get up at 3 to drop them off at the start.
  11. I was thinking of flying in for this one rather then the Hiveld but the logistics sounds like it will put it out of reach. Gonna have to hope the missus will feel like going to a bike race on her birthday (Hiveld day).
  12. Some interesting places they go in there. ie: Eritrea, Gabon. I see they're not going to Iran. http://www.qhubeka.org/qhubeka/HOME/Entries/2012/4/10_International_race_schedule_for_Team_MTN-Qhubeka.html
  13. How good a deal is Dura Ace 7800 groupset for R7999? I realize it's not the latest but I don't need the latest. Worth getting or not? http://www.cwcycles.co.za/product/shimano-dura-ace-7800-10sp-groupset
  14. I'm no fan and think the only reason this is in the news is because it's Lance. If it was anybody else it would simply have been water of a ducks backside. If the world wants to knock someone, they will find the reason/excuse to do so. I'm much the same when it comes to juju/zuma. Any excuse to knock them is a good one. Hehe
  15. How long is that gonna keep him off the bike? Any idea? Back in time for the Tour?
  16. It's all about the bike money. I don't suppose he'll enter and rock up like an ordinary Joe Soap. I believe his fees are around a million gorillas just to pitch up. Didn't some big company put up the money for his Argus appearance?
  17. Anyone following/watching this. Sounds like a few 1st/2nd places over the last few days by Arran Brown and Reinhardt JvR
  18. I only rode that road (twice) at Argus time and never really "saw" it for what it is. Never drove it either. Was talking to a pommie who's been down there a few weeks ago and he reckoned he had tears streaming down his face when he did Chappies drive. It was that beautiful. Here I am and I'm always looking at the wheel in front. Something I shall have to remedy.
  19. No way! :w00t: How accurate is your gauge? I know my garmin isnt very accurate.
  20. The problem seems to be seeding cause in your "J" group it seems there was more stronger people than in "H". Thats if they'd gotten dropped, or that could also be the attitude in the 2 groups was just different? I know of someone who only every rides the Argus and gets seeded on his Argus result year after year. Maybe they should take a more global look at your riding activity through the year to gauge the strength of people and seed accordinly. Thats no good for me though cause I wont be doing any seeding events and no Argus this year will put me at the back end.
  21. Sorry to hear man. That is not good lady!
  22. Nice pics. Thanks for sharing. Quite a traffic jam
  23. Spotted on FB. Rumuor mill suggesting they may run the race in reverse to split the groups on Suikerbos and make the race safer. How would that work as an idea?
  24. update from hospital Argus women crash- Cherise neckbrace, Jo vdW bruised knee, Robyn ribs not good. Get well very soon, supposed to fly to Europe on Tuesday
  25. How was your ride? Do share!
