  1. I've got the same problems. The always fit appraoch works best for me at this stage. Battling to maintain "my form" much less improve muscle or gain fitness. Just not enough tits. Best option with your 30min here and there is to train "all" the muscles as best you can when you can. The scientific stuff is a bit overkill when you missing workouts every other day.
  2. Those roads really seem to narrow up in places creating "natural bottle-necks" stretching out the peloton. With everyone fighting for a piece of road up front I'm surprised there aren't more crashes. Most at this stage seem to be in the turns which doesn't surprise of course as a lot of them turns seem really really tight. The guy in front of Cav was obviously too hot into that last turn (which is why he had to unclip), but the zig-zagging of the slow entry and trying get up to speed asap is really catching out a few.
  3. That sucks bigtime. Man I can just imagine. I would be screaming at someone behind the counter.
  4. Aaaah, they always fit approach? Not a lot of science in that but it works right?
  5. Ask your LBS for a cardboard box they use for shipping the bikes from taiwan or wherever if you're flying or can fit it into a car
  6. True, it does show form of a class team who manage to win even though they're not playing their best rugby. What does keep me wondering about the Stormers though is that they have been building a team for a few seasons now and they do need to peak (win some major silverware). When they choked in the semi's last year coach AC reckoned "it's a learning curve". For how many seasons does he envisage going through this learning curve? Compared to say the Bulls who lost half their team at the end of last season who are supposed to be building from scratch. I think they surprised most by how competitive they are this season. The same goes for the Brumbies. The Stromers is a good team but they seem to be battling to make the transision to a championship outfit. If they can't do it this season, when will they or will they ever?
  7. How is it that not a single Bianchi makes it onto this list?
  8. The Cav in a spot of bother..... We've all done that before. In about 2 seconds the dude riding along ever so nonchalantly in front will hear the all to familiar sound of carbon making contact with the turf!
  9. Old Jean reckon they need to go back to the drawing board. The Stormers peaked 8 weeks ago (way to early) as others are coming into form.
  10. Probably because their supporters are a bit weary of getting excited about a win over a Aussie conference wooden spoon contestant.
  11. Crickey the Rebels topples the mighty Saders. Dd all th others a Cavour there. Saders was rubbish on the night
  12. Better to merge the Stormers with that outfit from the Eastern Cape. storm kings?
  13. Pronto pronto!!!
  14. Team presentation on Rai now. Excitement is growing!
  15. RIP Juan
  16. Think you're talking about "Revolution". They haven't opened yet put should any day now. Wolfi's aint to bad on service depending who you get. Ask for Koos or King. They'll sort you out. They are pricey though. There's also Ride Bike Shop in most malls, Probike (used to have a great website) and AdventureHQ. They're all a bit cheaper.
  17. Wonder what their strategy will be. Last year Cav took a few stages, and dropped out when they hit the mountains, no doubt shaking in his Sidi's (if thats what he wears) moaning and itching something about preparing for the Tour.
  18. Cheetahs really threw that one away. Gotta feel for Sias Ebersohn. It's not all his fault and those kicks were important but the way the team played in the last 20 was like they had it in the bag. Big mistake!
  19. From my experience Dubai is more expensive than SA (I'm looking to buy in SA instead of Dubai). Tell me what you're after and I can try get some prices for if you want a more accurate comparison.
  20. Agreed, the bulls seem to be playing with fire. It's not like they take their feet off the pedal towards the end. They were just generally outplayed in the dying minutes of a few matches now. Seems they running out of gas and miss lots of tackles in the last 20 minutes. Having said that, it's a young team and they're rebuilding after losing many stellar players last year. I'm impressed that they are so competitive without really playing their best rugby. Compared to the Stormers who have been "building" and quote Coetzee "its a learning curve"....unquote for the last few seasons.
  21. What's his plans these days? I take it his not going to Kona? is he hanging up his "racing kit?"
  22. Thought the bulls were lucky for the most part. Ref had a shocker. That "play-on play-on" will make rumbles no doubt. Game changer! can't wait for the Sydney Morning Herald columnists to get into the office tomorrow.
  23. Australian derbies sucks
  24. His a great coach but needs to get over himself. If anything his making a big hoo-hah when no else even noticed his coming to town.
  25. Thanks Azonic. I might have to get back to you if I come unstuck as I'm looking to "borrow" something elsewhere. Does that MTB come free with a huge fee for the slicks?
