  1. How many pro's do you reckon is on here? Why not rather split the amateurs between those 1) serious about improving PB's and and amateur racers (A&B groupies)???
  2. Worry when you get to orange! Think its Blue to Orange: Underweight Normal Overweight Obese Red = You have one foot in the grave!
  3. Bradley Wiggins comes in @ 1.90m and 69kgs You people are all obese!
  4. Nothing is going to happen today. Take my word. Cuddles and Nibali will both have left there climbing legs at the hotel and and and..... Or maybe you meant tomorrow cause it's a rest day?
  5. So am I the only one who's been investing wisely?
  6. I take your point about all the "bold" stuff. That has been entertaining but after all that, the reason I tune in is the battle for the yellow jersey, hence me saying; "boring these last few days...." The other stuff did get the hype going but I guess what I meant was that the expectation in the mountains didn't really amount to much. There is still tomorrow though. What is PnP?
  7. 1.78 @ 73kgs
  8. Also think the tour has been boring the last few days. The sprinters provide more action then what I've seen in the hills. Cuddles tried again yesterday at the steep climb but that diesel engine of his will not drop Sagan on a hill and it's not because Sagan is that good. I can't believe a guy like cuddles would opt out of going for it all guns blazing to instead protect his 4/5th position. What good is 4th to a guy who's been at the top?
  9. How ironic. What was the overnight rainfall like?
  10. Sky might be a good place to be for Froome right now but I sure hope he doesn't stay there too long. He might be holding that maroon passport but he sure ain't never going to be British enough until circumstances necessitates him taking top spot or for as long as Wiggins is around. Wiggins could be there for another 5 years which will be a career wasted if Froome stays there that long.
  11. Nibs being a bit sour. He was the one to up the ante first with his comments about not rating Wiggo. That after he spent a hole day looking at Wiggo's arse. Don't cry for me Argentina Nibali!
  12. This statement just causes more problems for everybody. He should've just said nothing. The fact that there is NO flat-out denial of doping in there will get the vultures circling over the entire saga. Very poorly thought out release.
  13. There's soooooooo many South African flags on that Col today!
  14. Someone please post a live streaming link again
  15. Looks like the net is closing. LA getting increasingly isolated. "The United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) announced today that Dr. Luis Garcia del Moral (cycling team doctor), Dr. Michele Ferrari (cycling team consulting doctor) and Jose "Pepe" Martí (cycling team trainer) have all received lifetime periods of ineligibility as the result of their anti-doping rule violations in the United States Postal Service (USPS) Cycling Team Doping Conspiracy. The other three respondents in the case, Lance Armstrong, Johan Bruyneel and Dr. Pedro Celaya, have either asked for arbitration to go forward or have been given five-day extensions. USADA CEO Travis Tygart confirmed to Cyclingnews that Ferrari, Del Moral and Marti accepted their lifetime bans. "The respondents chose not to waste resources by moving forward with the arbitration process, which would only reveal what they already know to be the truth of their doping activity."
  16. The big question everyone should be asking is why or how did Bradley Wiggins go so much better on the time trial than Evans and the rest of the GC contenders? As the last two days in the medium mountains illustrate, Wiggins and Evans climb at about the same rate. Since both riders are similar in weight (Evans at 67kg and Wiggins at 69kg), they push a similar amount of power. Wiggins 2kg actually suggests that he pushes about 3% more power than Wiggins on a climb. Assuming that Evans pushes about 440 watts at threshold (6.5 watts per kg), Wiggins probably pushes closer to 450 watts. Do those 10 extra watts actually translate into 3% more speed? Maybe. But bicycle aerodynamics aslo comes into play here. Just compare the positions of Wiggins and Evans. Wiggins back is flatter and his arms form less of an air scoop, which creates additional front area friction. Likely, Evans has optimized his position to favor power over aerodynamics, but the trade off is not working for him. http://cyclingcommentary.typepad.com/cycling_commentary/
  17. 'I say they're you're just f****** w******. I cannot be doing with people like you that. 'It justifies their your own bone-idleness because they you can't ever imagine applying themselves yourself to do anything in your their lives. 'It's easy for them you to sit under a pseudonym on Twitter the hub and write that sort of s***, rather than get off your their a**** in their your own lives and apply themselves yourself and work hard at something and achieve something. 'And that's ultimately it. C****.' :D
  18. This position looks so much more comfortable and aero!
  19. It's amazing how different athletes can look, even more surprising how much faster Wiggo is looking at this comparison
  20. No disrespect but Wiggo looks like this everyday Pom you going to bump into at your local drinking hole! The kinda guy that sits there all day everyday, hardly looks the athlete he really is.
  21. Pretty accurate depiction!
  22. good one
  23. Just to good! Murray was like he didn't have enough fight in him in that 4th set. It looked like he was the 30 year old. Its like Federer is not the winner. It's more about Murray who didn't win. The poms at their selfish best. But this time cant say I don't understand. Edit: Sport can be very cruel sometimes but there was only one guy in that match who deserved to win it. But like I said, this time around I do understood the poms' feelings.
  24. What is this dude's beef with Wiggo? Even so, he still couldn't keep up with either Froome/Wiggins so maybe he should shut his trap and peddle harder!
  25. If anything that result knocks out the Reds from the playoffs. Sharks just have to beat Cheetahs next week and the Bulls to beat Lions. If they get there both have to travel for play-off games.
