  1. Thanks! Looking forward to it but we will have to go again to do all the sites. We are staying on the shores of the Dead sea and is quite far from Petra and so on. It is only a long weekend so we will check out that area thoroughly.
  2. Lekker!! I love the trails. Road is a lot different and has its own challanges but trail is more stimulating for me.
  3. One more rest day then I’m back in action. We geading to Jordan for a little break away, staying on the shores of the dead sea, some of the hills in the surrounding area seems to have trails on them. Looking forward to running outside again.
  4. Thats crazy! I used to run the my road less travled races. Nina basically bundu bashed a route, some were insane but fun. The 21k races are R240 with awesome food/water/sometimes beer stations. The prizes for the winners as well as the fun activity prizes and lucky draws are super worth it. For trail I don’t think there s a better organiser.

  8. Man. A month before the marathon and I fall on some rocks and bust my knee. Hop it heels this week so that I can still do some tapering.

  13. Hey guys. I have 8 weeks before the marathon and there are 9 weeks left on the programme. Which one do I leave out? I was thinking 11?

  19. Hey guys. Any tips on making the treadmill more interesting? I have to to all my runs on it. The short or just over 10k ones are alright but the 30k lsd runs are a nightmare. It is mindnumbingly boring! Supose it is a good mental workout. But anyone got a tip or idea to beat the boredom?
  20. Put some chaffing cream on, on the day of the run. I did a similar thing and had mild chaffing from the ride, the next days run was hell from about 10ks in.

  22. I do the same. I only use it on easy runs to make shure I stay in zone 2. What I am irritated with is the difference in pace between the watch and treadmill. The watch is on par at 6:30min/km but the faster I set the treadmill the slower my pace on the watch becomes. Will a footpod sort this out?
  23. Hey guys. I'm doing the Kuwait marathon on the 18th of November. On the 26th of Feb is the Dubai marathon. I'm keen on doing that one as well. Do I start my marathon training programme from scratch again after about a weeks rest?
