Agreed, but surely as a "buyer" of the bike from them you could actually request the proof of purchase, ID and if they can't then that branch should be reported?

I emailed CC head office to request they send out the picture of my bike to their branches in the Western Cape which they happily agreed to do.

I emailed the head office of Cash Crusaders this morning and attached a picture of the bike asking if they can circulate the picture to the branches in the Western Cape, Southern Suburbs. Thanks bro, it was the worst feeling ever! Felt frustrated and extremely angry. Could not understand why my water bottle was lying on the other side of our gate. But few seconds later I figured out what could have happened... looked behind our second gate and the bike was not there! sucks!

Hi everyone, please diarise next Wednesday, 31 October. Come and join us in St James/Muizenberg near the site where the bus accident happened, in a silent static protest on the pavement. If you have a '1.5m' safe cycling jersey please wear it; we'll bring black armbands/ribbon. We'll bring our '1.5m' safe cycling flags and put that up as well. At this stage we are looking at doing the protest between 06h45 and 07h15. More details to follow soonest - spread the word in the meantime!

Our drivers have undergone rigorous training and proved to be capable of world class driving as well as being in possession of clear theoretical knowledge regarding the rules of the road. We have worked closely with one of the prominent cycling organisations previously (unfortunately the name has just escaped me) but that is certainly something to be considered and we are always looking for innovative ways to drive the safety message home to all our staff. If possible could you please try to remember (and I know this is tricky) the 4-digit number on any bus that you feel is not driving courteously or safely – and pass those details on to me directly (including approximate time and location of incident) – in that way we can investigate immediately and take specific action if necessary. We do have drive cam on half our buses, compulsory refresher safety training for all drivers and inspectors but there will be always be incidents that occur without our knowledge. Together we can ensure that any behaviour that is not acceptable is dealt with swiftly and that our roads are safer for all who use them. Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time.
