From where I have worked usually the rim tape that comes standard with the rim is removed and replaced with a thicker and more reliable tape which helps with the tubeless installation.

I also have a pair of Kenda Kwest on my mountain bike and prefer the slicks for the Argus purely for the resistance factor.

Really sorry to hear what happened to you and glad that no body harm came to you. Clearly they know its peak season or that time of the year when there are more cyclists on the road and therefore target riders. Like Lexx said, police or some Vigilante or neighborhood watch in the hot spots!

Sad part is that some paraplegics can only use their arms to cycle... maybe they should research into that before making a judgement. But apart from that yes their statement about cyclists in the road riding next to each other is true, I witnessed just that a few days ago.

Personally I would go wireless if it comes down to you choosing a computer over the cellphone. Just my 2 cents I have Sigma 1009 STS and love being able to download the details of the ride to my pc to look at in the future and analyze.
