  1. We're doing our first Spruit ride on Saturday morning and plan to do about 40k's starting at the M&B Paulshof. I had a look at the Google Earth map, but it really doesn't help much in terms of when you're on the bike. Does someone have some written descriptions of when and where exactly you start, where you cross roads, etc, etc?
  2. James Wilson has a program for the time challenged among us which is based on some strength work and a substantial amount of interval training. The intervals can be done running, cycling, jump rope, etc. I've just started it, so I'll provide feedback at a later stage
  3. Probably a bit later than that, around 14h30 or so. Hence the spruit works quite well, cause it's close to home and no traffic. Update: Seems we're doing Northern Farms on Sat, so I'm likely to just do 15 or so at the Cycle Park on Friday. With my current state of fitness it's probably a wise move

  5. Is there anywhere (the nearer to Fourways the better) the one can go to for a safe 30 odd k MTB ride on a Friday afternoon? Obviously the Cycle park is there, but doing 30k's on the green tracks...

  7. Hi guys I've recently (read last week) started cycling again after a prolonged break from the sport. What is the best way for me to get back to an acceptable level of fitness? Due to work commitments and concerns about cycling alone, I am hesitant to go to Northern Farms or something during the week so my options feel very limited. It is worth doing the MTN cycle park once a week, spinning class once a week and a ride on the weekend? What should my distance goals be, etc, etc. In the long run, I have entered the 94.7, so I have an end goal, I'm just not too sure how to get there.
