  1. Actualy got "proper fit" from the sweatshop in dunkeld. And got the shoes they recommended. But my cycling is my thing so decided to stop this running business
  2. As topic says the last 2 weeks i have a very weak Pain in front of knee slightly below knee cap. I have not changed bike set up of anything along those lines? I did do a 7 km run around 3 weeks ago that definitely over exerted me and think that might have been the issue as im not a runner.. Any ideas?
  3. Fittrack came back stating its due to my fenix pushing out a .fit file. They say it should work somewhere in the week as the are fixing the issue on their side
  4. What site can i use to train with a program and upload my garmin data for the training? And not fittrack as that site is broken... Been trying for days and doesn't work, and the sites tech response guys also don't help

  6. After numerous recommendations i want to use the futtrack site for mu 94.7 training. However when i try upload from my garmin fenix it states the garmin plug in cant be unlocked? Garmin connect and living vitality uploads just fine... Any ideas?
  7. Doing it again on my MTB. No real program. Just want to beat my 5 hr time of last year. Hoping for 4:30.
  8. Iv not really used any products till now. Use very diluted game on rides, and a gu or two on races. However i have noticed how cheap usn products actualy are. There is a "epic pro" supplement( ride and recover), usn gels ( @R12 a pop) and a usn sports drink (@R70 for 14 liters)( like game for electrolytes) that i got to test. What usn products do you use and recomend?
  9. 3:26 was my time, actual time 3:18 as i stopped to pump up a flat. Jip had a yogisip, bananna before, and a gel during ride.
  10. As mentioned before did my biggest MTB race the weekend. It was the 66KM auto Alpina. From around 55km I felt my "power" in my legs drop. HR was ok and breating too, just the leg power, as if legs where runing out of fuel. So is this just fitness or just leg power needed? I finished and was tired but no craps or any of those issues.
  11. Screw these timing companies. I have a race tec and a ss board. Now i have to pay another 120
  12. Not happy with these guys... No one said any where we would not be timed if we had no chip. Did the 66 and at the end they just said oh sorry inly people with chips get timed. Any other race normaly takes your nr and works out position that way

    1st 66KM

    In June I did my 1st 50 KM MTB with the USN race and ended up on being 51.9km. Saturday im doing my 1st 60, well its actually 66km. Any advice? Or just do as I did with the USN 50? PS I finished the USN 50 in 2:59:35

  16. Lost my one leg warmer at voriverg and have a race on sat in springs / nigel ( cold) Where in joburg is the cheapest il get a set of leg warmers?

  18. Its almost my b day and my wife asked for a list. Need some help with trusted and tested products to put on the list. So far im looking at new multitool, new saddle bag and new shoes for mtb. The only one if singled out is the Blackburn Toolmanator 3

  21. Which do you read? On my ipad via zinio i have subscription to bicycling SA, mens healthSA. When i see it i get the ride and also do it now from a shop.
  22. How do you know what your calorie intake er day should be? And also how much calories you need to use in a ride, race, run and cardio? Then how to you transfer your menu to calories? If i have meal a its x and meat b is y? Im trying to balance my eating out so i get what i need and not over or under eat?
