Who did yours in DBN bud, please sure detailsThese guys just did mine in Durban and it's amazing. Full coverage if you give them just the frame, but they can do it with a fully built bike too. I see there's one in Midrand. I did also put the honeycomb All Mountain kit on myself from Trailtech, just to add a bit of bling. It's actually so easy, and took 20minutes.
Where is the best place to get a bike fitting done in KZN? Looking for an ‘active’ 3D fitting, similar to Retul or something else along those lines. Had one done 5 years ago, but I’m sure my body and flexibility have changed dramatically since then. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Shot
Hey guys, we doing this year on BMX's again for a charity, have a newcomer joining us, with one small issue, he does not have a BMX. Anyone have or know of someone that would allow us the use of their BMX for the day? If safety/security is a concern, I'd be more than willing to pay a deposit to ensure that you get your bike back. Thanks a mil!!
have they banned anyone with a doping conviction from ever entering their races, also, is there a specific instance where a winner has been stripped for a doping offence
three towers stripped Rourke Croeser of his finish last year if im not mistaken!
My 5 cents, Ive done Crossfit for around 3 years, is a nice alternative / crosstraining option, however does fatigue your muscles a lot, and this definitely affects cycling. However, what the people I train with have done is created a cycling specific cross training, which ties in certain crossfit movements / principals, however focuses on a lot of muscle balance type work, and everyone that has tried it has seen massive results! We train in fourways at Cedar Square, you might have seen us, training on the artificial skiing slope! If you in the area, come try it out, I guarantee it makes you stronger on the bike, and you notice a massive difference in your recovery times!!. PM me for more info if you keen.
busy uploading pics now, give me a sec
Well here is my new SS build , consists of the following : Scott Scale Pro Carbon Frame , Rapide rigid Carbon fork , Stanz ZTR Flow rims on Hope Pro2's , XTR Crank , KCNC Seatpost, Crbon bars etc. Very chuffed with how she turned out, interested to know your guy thoughts.
Dare you to ask them if they have any Chinarellos in stock. Dare ya…
Im not dressed appropriately for a scuffle, so think ill give your suggestion a miss.
On a serious note though, seems like business as usual here. Doesn't even seem to be 'worry' in the air.
im sitting outside this shop as we speak thinking of buying a new bike. I've always wanted a Dogma, any advice?
For those people asking what sort of rates these are done at, please note that it is individual specific, but in general around 5 to 10 points lower than credit card rates.
So, we've done our first couple of hubbers bikes, hope you guys are happy with the service , rates etc, enjoy it!!!
Silly idea to borrow bucks for a bike, people get into depth way to quick.
dont support guys like this
Guys like this??
Hi all, I have received quite a few enquiries via email regarding facilities, please note that I have replied to all of these requests and one of our ladies from the office will be contacting you regarding your enquiries. Thanks for all the great feedback, some very interesting and viable points raised, some rubbish too, but lets highlight the positives
Thanks for all the feedback guys and girls, really made for some interesting reading!
looks like just another unsecured lending deal. They normally nail you on interest rate and screw you on insurance linked to finance
As stated in an earlier post, it is secured lending, item needs to be serialized, we not here to compete with the flyers saying R50 000 loans in 5 mins.
They do the insurance to,so if you break it then they'll replace it.
This is a no risk investment
As said upfront, the insurance has still not been bolted on, but you are correct, the asset has to be insured as it is secured lending. Same way a car needs to be insured
Can i mail you my details?
How long before i get the money?
I want a Santa Cruz Bronson and a Parlee
Appreciate the sarcasm and fully understand your apprehension. We don't pay you out, we pay the retailer, we are not in the business of selling bikes. All apps will go through the retailers.
I do understand you are not always on the hub but this being a discussion forum, you may consider discussing the queries online for all to see. Email is a bait to offer and sell, let's hear about it before going second base.
Is this offer only on full bikes as Rifi wants to know, or can we supply a shopping list of items too?
At the moment it is only on full bikes and frames , needs to be serialized
Half arsed advertising attempts tend to go off the rail and work against you. Rather publish all the details at once and take it from there.
Appreciated, but again, this is not an advertisement, merely a forum on which we could get some feedback from all the hubbers and cyclists out there.
I think borrowing money/financing a rapidly depreciating toy like a bicycle is a very, very silly idea.
I guess one would then argue same about an off road motorbike or boat, any leisure finance for that matter?
will this be asset based/secured lending?
Short/Long term?
FSB and NCR registration (you are supposed to disclose same when advertising/offering your product to consumers)
Hi Fanie , yes, it would be secured and short or long term. As for your last point, I am not advertising nor offering on this forum, merely discussing .
