Thank you. My question was more in terms of the sale price achieved. I understand testosterone etc plays a part but when looking at an open home the agent advises an expected price of X. How often is X achieved and how often is the pricing lower than X. been looking at sale prices on homes.co.nz and they look reasonable but then when asking agents in the same area the price is considerably higher.

from the day i arrived here i have been taking a multi vitamin. I knew the stress would get to me and make me sick so i fugured i would need to help the old body out a bit. Havent been sick yet but did feel a bit off after spending a few hours in the cold of the snow planet.

I find the winters pretty mild compared to the cold I am used to in JHB. Sure the mornings and evenings are cold but they days are fairly pleasant.

Agreed. The separation of family is generally more important to the female species. I do miss my family but miss my mates more. Another thing is that we are not very open socialites so making friends for us takes time. That being said when we do make friends they are good friendships that last. We have skype and WhatsApp calls on a regular basis with home. It helps to keep in touch. Not the same as going for a coffee/birthday party/ ride with your good mates. I console myself by reminding myself why I moved to a different country. Wayne and his family have been a saving grace and the fact that our wives have become friends makes life easier. Also knowing that they are going through the same emotions as us helps us to feel normal in a very different state of adjustment.

i don't need to be on a podium but i enjoy races. Rides the the Ride for Sight, The Fast One. 94.7 Cycle Challenge, Amashova etc. Even MTB races like crater cruise, the Nissan series

Judging from what I can find online we were quite fortunate in JHB with the number and frequency of races being held and their proximity to the city centre.

Smales Farm is easy. Takes us 5-10 min to drop the wife off on days when i do take the car. However i takes me an hour to get into the city.
