  3. Thanks for the link, Splat. Guys, check out the link. There's 94 pics. Well worth it.
  4. Don't say that. I've got to go and apply for a new ID. I'm being stopped at the airport these days because they refuse to believe that the physical me is the same person on the ID photo.
  5. Hi DJR. Should have known. Apologies for my rambling. Not been a great morning thus far. Looking forward to the weekend, can play around with the new project build. Always puts me in a better mood.
  6. Hi DJR. I'm guessing your suggestion is made in jest I think the chance of alienating other brand frame lovers is great.I know it sounds implausible, but not every Hubber is a Colnago fan or even an Italian frame lover. I believe the "Post your bike Porn" thread should by definition cater to all fetishes and fixations , while the other threads, such as this thread, can allow us to focus in on a specific brand or love.
  7. Question is, did you finish the varnishing project or were you somewhat distracted upon arriving home.
  8. Last batch, promise ????. Colour really is beautiful, if I say so myself. The pics really doesn't do it justice. Many thanks to Jared and Barry for their contributions to the De Rosa. Sean
  9. Eventually finished my project build. One or 2 cosmetic changes still to be made. Anyway, heard you guys like pics so here goes. Apologies for the picture quality. Taken with a camera phone ????.
  10. Hoping to finish this babe in the next couple of weeks????.
  11. Not sure if I like it, but damn sure does looks cool
  12. I remember those. Heaven's, it's a long time back. A friend had one of them; we'd swop bicycles occassionaly. Him on my Peugeot Sting and me on the Chopper. Damn, that was FUN
  13. Many thanks Kamaal. Don't worry, i'll definitely be taking the rings off.. Will be visiting the hardware store this weekend. Regards Sean
  14. Hi Kamaal. Apologies for the late reply. Did'nt have a chance today to log in. My boss kept me pretty busy all day. Very inconsiderate of him I think ????. Will what's app you the pics, but in the interim see attached. Many thanks. Sean
  15. Hi Sven. My wife would totally lose it. I've already got a few projects that need completing. Don't think I can push my luck any further . Must have been another Sean who bought the Cosmos. Regards Sean
  16. Hi all. Looking at Kamaal's beauty above reminded me of an enquiry i've wanted to post on a previous occasion. Who can I contact in the Cape Town area that would be able to assist in "buff polishing" older cranksets. I have 2 where the sparkle has worn off; would love to get that old shine back. Thanks Sean
  17. I second that emotion.
  18. Many thanks Morph. I see the owner says that its the original paintwork. Absolutely beautiful. The chromework itself looks like it was done yesterday. .
