  1. Hi Morph. I just went back and had another look at these pics. Unless someone is being extremely nitpicky, I can't see any blemishes or imperfections on this build. It's about as close to perfect as can be (other than the individuals personal preference in group set ). Do you have any further information about the build? Thanks Sean
  2. Put new wheels on my TVT, it is the most beautiful ride Where you been hiding this beauty Evan? More pics please☺
  3. I remember someone alerting us to keep an eye out on the 26th June. It was a Colnago fan if I remember correctly.????
  4. Hi Werner i'm no mtbr but that thing looks hot. Agree Restomod. And then " Ride it like you stole it"
  5. Thanks Olffie. That is an interesting bike. Similar in concept to the Mixte of the late 60's. Except those had a dual "uppertube" - can't call it a toptube I suppose
  6. Hi olffie. lovely pics. You by any chance have a pic that shows the full frame. Dying to see what it looks like.
  7. May have to agree with you. Think the 2 bikes posted today probably are as close to it as possible. Absolutely beautiful.
  8. Hi Olffie. That is beautiful. How about a couple of close up pic's? The eyes are not as good as they once were
  9. Your patience has paid off. That is a stunning build. Congratulations.
  10. With that group and wheelset, i assume you still give her a good workout. How does the ride compare to the newer Cannondale's?
  11. Caad3 if i'm correct? Wanted one of those myself. Had to settle for a Caad5 in blue.
  12. Lovely. Brings back memories
  13. You posted in the wrong thread. This belongs in the Porn thread
  14. Got's to get me a red bike some day...
  15. Hi BB. Lovely build. I promised myself to not even contemplate a 6 speed. You making me have second thoughts. Is that a Schrader valve I see?
  16. Hi LC. Will definitely consider those once my existing tyres have worn out. Glad to see they offer puncture protection. Previous gumwalls used not always had the best puncture protection capabilities. Sean
  17. I'd definetly stick with the gumball tyres if I were you. It just looks so cool on that frame. Will those rims be able to handle 25mm tyres or max 23mm?
  18. Hi bike bloke. I love this. For some reason i had also decided to do something with a long forgotten/ignored LeMans frameset that had just been standing around gathering dust. I probably never considered it worthy of a full rebuild before, but being fortunate enough to have picked up quite a few components at bargain prices, parts that were not being used for anything else, I thought i'd put her together and see what it would turn out like. Not too bad. Think I will be putting on a few miles on her this coming winter. Christened her "Pug" by the way
  19. That's a beauty. Love the fact you kept the old stem. Somehow just looks right.
  20. I'm not even considering venturing down that path
  21. I've learn't to never make promises that i will not be able to keep
  22. Hi LC. Beautiful. Unfortunately my wife saw the pic. She was not to impressed with you for displaying the Colnago in front of the family pic's. " Priorities" is the word she muttered under her breath. In the same breath, she said, " Beautiful bike" , so don't feel too bad.
