Hi everyone, I am looking for a 947 entry for the driver at our office. The only reason he has not entered the race the past couple of years is because he simply cannot afford it. If you know of someone that has an entry but can't make it anymore or you can't make it and you're willing to gift your entry or sell it at a reasonable price (then I can cover the costs for him) please let me know. I did post a wanted ad but am trying to spread the word a little further. I have never had much luck with wanted ads.

And just like that my least productive period at work starts!

Our race was over before it even started. Some guy that was late for the start tried to make up all the spots he lost in KL before going over the timing mats. He hit a barrier and crashed against my girlfriend who then took me down. Her rear disc was so badly bent we had to pull out. Would have loved to try out the route, will just have to give it another shot next year.

We have an open space in the bakkie leaving from midrand/centurion on Friday, will probably aim for around 2-3pm. If anyone is keen for a lift and to split fuel etc, pm me.

Don't know if there are any miners on here but a lot of people lost a lot of money with the Nicehash hack. Luckily I lost only about $5 worth of BTC but some guys I know lost around $1000 worth.

Huge respect for Karina Britz, still ticking over the kms...and pretty much for anyone who attempted, finished or will finish the munga. I probably said the same thing last year but this race is an eye opener to what the human body and mind can accomplish.

I think they are pretty cool.

Well done to MM, wonder if he will be back to defend his title next year.

The battle for the last podium spot is going to be interesting.

Very true, but barring a serious breakdown he should hold on to his lead, based on his performance so far.

Wow, I am really impressed with the comeback Jeannie has made after that mechanical. Still hoping for Sthembiso and the others but it seems Marco will be able to close this one out.

I am rooting for Sthembiso Masango, could have been very competitive last year if not for a string of mechanical issues and some bad luck.

The time has finally come. All my hard work and preperation over the last few days will be well worth it. My mobile data has been topped up, tracking site bookmarked, I am ready for dot watching! To all the people actually lining up at the start tomorrow, good luck!!

I am pretty sure you are not supposed to say something like that out loud, or at least follow it up with "touch wood"...

Cool then I know which dot I will be supporting. Hopefully he is on a better bike this year, or at least has a better wheelset.

Anybody know if Sthembiso Masango is riding again? I randomly chose a dot to support last year and he ended up doing quite well, even with a bunch unfortunate setbacks during the course of the race.

Disappointed to have missed it this year... Came back from to weeks on site in France with a stupid cold. How was the wind this year?
