  1. Eish. Goodluck. I joke with all my mates now , riding is hiding , running is real ! It just breaks you 🤐
  2. And how much running before that ? Ie did you ramp up from very little to that volume and pace in this year alone ? It takes time for ligaments, tendons to handle the load of running versus ramping up significantly on a low impact sport like cycling. I'm in exactly the same boat with Tendinopathy in my right knee. 3 months off since comrades in june and only just started progressively loading it now with the idea of building for comrades next year. Only thing that seems to have made a difference is the weighted strength exercises latest physio has me doing.
  3. Have you been to a good physio versus Doc ? Much more to it than just getting an injection. what volume/km per week are you doing , whats a blistering pace ie are you running too hard too fast relative to your bodies running experience ect.
  4. I got 88.8km as did my mate who started in B with me.
  5. Course was 88.8km on my garmin and a mates. So not as short as made it.
  6. Starts with a step. Really that simple. Make the decision and then do it.
  7. Holy crap..nothing leaves you as broken as a down comrades 🤐

  9. Anybody got the 2023 down route file to load onto garmin watch for peacemaking? Thanks, Supposedly it 87.8km thinsuear, that 88.82km, but what's 1 km over that distance 😬
  10. Anybody got the 2023 down route file to load onto garmin watch for peacemaking?
  11. Also doing comrades. I did a 4h41 for Oceans, felt pretty good for it. Not sure what the sensible 'step down' pace to try do for Comrades is though. Any advice from the experienced guys ?
  12. what time if you don't mind putting it out there 🤐
  13. Did my first one today. Loved it, massive vibe and if you a Hout Bay Harrier, running though HBay is an awesome experience! Was very impressed with organizing and running of it. Wish i had done this years ago!
  14. Riding is hiding running is real...🤐 Started running for real last year with intention of doing Two oceans and Comrades this year. FMG its hard, you broken all the time versus riding!

not compared to bike stuff Can comfortably double tap 2 x 124gr projectiles at slightly over a 1000fps into the 'A zone' of a idpa target from 50m in less than a second. That's quite handy on a small holding..pretty sure the person on the other end of the pointy object wont think of it as pretty cool toy. My bike is a toy though

Unlucky..I would say beyond. There a reason 70 % of the worlds LE agencies use them. Because they reliable. Not because they sexy, look good or shoot better than any other gun.

bank on minimum 6 if you very lucky and sadly upto 12 months by the time you have card in hand with current time frames. Is it at a gun shop with range so you can at least use it in interim?

Still deals to be found on new gen3 glock 19's for that price. Would take the Glock all day everyday simply because of track record and local support.
