I was not trying to be nasty, I really think donating that goodie bag for homeless people will be a good deed

3 Huge factors, warmer weather, more people (meaning more bunches if you loose yours) and all the people cheering next to the road, is a plus point. But don't fool yourself 94.7 is still a hard race.

Ha ha, it looks more like a bag for a homeless guy. Soap and cream, maybe next year they should use the goodie bags exactly for that purpose.

This was my 1st D2D but have done 3 94.7's. The D2D was much harder than 94.7 for me. Went along well till that last 25km then I bonked out. My avg yesterday was 28 and 94.7 33km/h. Maybe the support next to the road also makes it easier than D2D

I did not expect the difficulty of the race. First 75km avg of 35km and then the last bit just killed me. Was aiming for sub 3 but got 3:18, which sucks.

Let me rephrase sub 3 or if wind is playing tricks then 3:05 to 3:15 should do the trick then

  11. Please help, don't want to pay R3000 for new fork
  12. Thanks I spoke to achter at woodmead branch. Looks like they can hopefully help me.
  13. Will take some later on and post of the actual fork. But I have attached another pic. On the top part of the fork you get that piece of plastic that goes over the fork. Looks like the diamond shape. That part is broken.
  14. Hi Guys I took my frame for a respray. Got it back and the crown on top of the fork was glued on skew. So my lbs had to brake it off just to fit the fork in the frame again. To make a long story short can I only get that top piece of the fork separate or do I need to buy a whole new fork? It is for a Trek Madone 6.9 model. I will do a full name and shame later on as the bike was sprayed by a very well known guy in JHB. Thanks Ian
  15. Thanks to all the guys selling their 26ers for so cheap. I build myself a full xtr, full carbon bike weighing in at 9.2kg. So keep them coming, I am smiling all the way.
