  1. Taahir, singletrack wise Esselfontein must be in the top 3 of the Western Cape, that is if you like rocky technical st! Not that much climbing, but rewarding downhill st after each climb, you'll love every moment!
  2. Jislaaik dit was 'n tough ride! Did it with my wife as training for w2w, although she's quite strong, she got 0 bunch riding skills!!!! Had to leave some very nice bunches to drop back to her as she's just to scared to sit close on the wheel. Everytime the bunch accelerate quickly she's off! Did some loong solo stretches...... After the 10th time I seriously got pissed!!!! Never again! Finished with a 5:45, which I'll take on a day like today! Well done to everyone that finish this one!
  3. Lanklaas so in my moer gewees! Moet sê die bar one by lasaste water was n lifesaver! Darem net onder 3 uur ingekom, so seker nie te bad, maar so wil ek nooit weer op 'n fiets voel!
  4. Sien jul daar, lyk of dit dalk bietjie kan reën more!
  5. Give me a pm the week before you arrive, I'll show you around.
  6. Great race, just 'n pity I was seriously in my moer from the 80km mark... Managed a 4:50 with my wife. Did she impressed me today, cycling for just a year now, with a total of 13 hours in the saddle for august, ended up pulling my sorry ass home for the last 30km! Ego took a serious dent today.......(must admit been sick for the last two weeks, so using it as excuse!)
  7. I'll be on my Scott spark expert and wife on her chinadale. Tru cape kit.
  8. Me and my wife's in for the looong one, hope we're fit enough! Looking forward to meet some hubbers!
  9. This surely must rate as one of the most boring races in the cape! Zig zagging through the same vineyards and dams for 50 odd km's not for me. Die Burger is in a different class!
  10. Anyone ordering from Flyxii pleassssse let me know, I'm looking for some RD hangers, model FLX RD 002.
  11. Try easybike for Racing ralph snakeskin pacestar @ R499 each
  12. I haven't downloaded the data, the total acent on the device says 1530m.
  13. Gee, can the edge 800 be that far off?
  14. I got 1530m with my garmin edge 800 for the 60km
  18. Well done Burger, really enjoyed this one! Some nice new st on the 60km! Perfect storm was nice meeting you on the route! Where did you see the results?
  20. Dink in die verlede was dit: A = 75km B tot E (of F) = 60km G tot J = 40km ens.
  22. Yes please, would like to try a 1x10 setup! Let me know when you want to come and ride in Tulbagh.
