  2. CKT have got their own factory, so no not nearly the same. As I said Quality is a huge factor with CKT.
  3. We are the agents for CKT in SA. Maillot Jaune Cycles- 011 692 1076 Its the 2009 range. Dont have the 368 yet. But we have samples of the very awesome 168Evo road, my favourite the 258 road, Suprema Mtb frame and 568 TT frames. Awaiting our shipment. Pricing wil be done as soon as we have everything. We have had a huge positive response already! I can say that the Quality on the frames is really top end in every detail! No alluminium wrapped frames or alluminium headset inserts in the headtube, its all carbon..
  4. Roues mode lite carbon-clincher wheels 1590gr- a bit heavy. Sram force groupset. 7.290kg complete
  5. Buying carbon fibre products<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> THE IMPORTANCE OF EPOXY RESIN Before you buy, ask your seller: "What kind of resin does your company use for carbon fiber and its derivatives?" The wrong answer is POLYESTER RESIN!!! Polyester resin is the cheapest product that any company can buy when working with carbon fiber or its derivatives. 1. Polyester resin has a blueish finish instead of a clear finish. The blue tint significantly reduces the appearance of the product. 2. Polyester resin is inflexible and will spider-crack at the mere thought of bending. Spider cracks fracture from the point of damage and are very difficult to fix. 3. Excessive amounts of polyester resin need to be used during the molding process. This adds considerable weight to the product and defeats the purpose of purchasing lightweight carbon fiber. 4. Polyester resin will shrink over time and alter the shape of the final product, resulting in installation headaches and additional modifications for fit. 5. Polyester resin is not UV resistant and will turn yellow over time. The correct answer is EPOXY RESIN!!! Epoxy resin is the industry standard for high-performance race products. 1. Epoxy resin is extremely flexible. The flexibility allows a carbon fiber product to absorb a high level of impact force without breaking. 2. Epoxy resin does not spider-crack. When epoxy reaches it?s maximum bending potential (MBP), it will form only a single crack at the stress point. 3. Epoxy resin has a transparent finish that allows the deep, black 3D appearance of the carbon fiber to show through. 4. Epoxy resin does not shrink. 5. Epoxy is 100% UV resistant.
  6. Cut a piece of handlebar tape to size of the cut and stick it on the inside of the tyre. Its also stretchable with the tyre. works fine. But wouldnt trust a cut tyre at high speeds.

Anyway to all hubbers who is going to sell stuff- never sell anything on credit unless its your family or best friend or you have a credit repayment contract. That way you wont have hassles later..http://bp3.blogger/_T9Nh65MTx9o/RzHOLh0u3mI/AAAAAAAAAPo/ZmRuIkL37JE/s320/burningdollar
  16. Pay me.
  17. I have got the perfect product for someone like you! The TACX I- MAGIC VIRTUAL REALITY TRAINER... Where you can talk to your cycling partners and they dont talk back about what they think..
  18. Thats true that you can do it on gevoel but you would be surprised that what you think is right by hand and what is the right torque- huge difference. Cheap tools are made of cheap metal they fail and go round and wear down your parts. I like to do it all perfectly, use the correct lubricants, torque everything necessary, a clean washed bike and analise the parts and frame before you get nasty surprises. Well anyway all parts are warrantied if the correct torque is applied and that is all the parts with bolts which leaves you with pretty much everything.
  19. its really great if you can service your own bike. But a toolset that cost R500 and you can do everything on the bike without damaging your bike with cheap tools- I want to see that... How do you torque everything?
  20. Been mechanic for guys like Bart Brentjents, Leon van Bon Etc and they were more than happy..
  21. Will do a complete service for R200. Maillot Jaune Cycles- 011 692 1076

  23. How about something like this? You want beat this easily.. And it supports 95kg rider on road, 85kg rider of road. That is practical.
  24. A chain when worn also wears side to side when viewing a chain from the top on drivetrain. Therefore means play on chain when shifting from one gear to another. The top pulley's distance from gear is never just 1 pin usually 2-3 pins which means the deviasion from side to side becomes greater and the chain does not engage correctly.
