  1. Big Ben has it right. We have done this at 2 races this year. Licensed riders are in the bunch to teach the stronger non licenced riders racing skills in bunch riding . Radios were used solely to keep all in the bunch and let them see what it is like riding at the front of a bunch as well as controlling the pace. We took a number of non club members to their first sub 3 on both occasions. when you see us again jump on and enjoy.
  2. RIP and condolences to the family
  3. Speedy recovery Kelly. This is becoming a weekly occurance with 2 of our club members being hit on the Lido loop out south in the last couple of weeks. Head up and take your time to a full recovery.
  4. The agents are now Cycle Lab although Solomon's still have a few in stock. Btw I ride the same bike as Capcha and it is one of the more eye catching bikes around.
  5. It is safer but by no means an easy route. Undulating with wind most of the way.
  6. Or go to Suikerbos twicw a month and do 2 laps. 120 + km and 2500m climbing
  7. Plus your racing license if you so choose = 350
  8. It's actually 195 for members that fall under CGC as it's 120 for CSA membership plus whatever your provincial fee is.
  9. George at Mean Machine in Germiston. Was rated as tops by old pros like AVH and the like
  10. Old route was 1098m ascent and the new route is 1348m ascent. All worked out by the master Geraldm24 aka Frosty
  11. Did it with my daughter on an old Trek Tandem 8 speed. We did a 4.14 and she was a superstar. This was probably my best 94.7 ever. I am 55 and she is 20. Our next goal is Ironman 2015
