  1. Lesbian - nice imagine mmmm
  2. The main reasons for me insuring my bikes is 1) Theft (this is SA you never know) 2) Less likely but can happen major crash in competition All the other stuff they cover is a bonus for me. Fatigue on the frame will take time, factory fault will/should be sorted out with you LBS where you bought the bike. Good luck ppl, Cyclesure worked well up to now
  3. This is not a price war saddle vs Saddle. about what you like and what you wana ride or am riding no it is not but it proves that a comfortable saddle does need to cost you a small fortune. All the others need to make up their money from the 300 pro team they sponsor and many people will rather be uncomfortable then ride something that is not seen on a pro bike. A few years ago it was Ariones' date=' now it is Prologos. I bet you if Contador or someone wins on Planet-X their sales will sky rocket.[/quote'] True, point taken. I found that wit the increase in price, most of the times you also get less comfort - LOL - less padding Agree to disagree then Some like expensive stuff some don't some do it for the shine some don't some just gives a ^%#$ , everyone love what the loves. If not all of us would be riding the same bikes, the same cars and live in the same styled houses with the same jobs and same looking wives. what a ball ups that would have been

  5. Really - you like blue on a bike ?? Funny how people differ in taste. The only color / or ok normal colors I would not like is blue
  6. Took some time to put one up. The IDEA is for you to post pics as well

  8. Post some of your favorite ROAD or MTB's here. NO bulls&it futuristic bike stuff please. this is STOCK standard bikes, paintjobs. What you like. I love white, red and black in a frame. (like the Pinarello Price colours, or the older Soloist Carbon Cervelo) Post your pics below. - this Eddy is a perfect example of how colour should be used on a bike!! VERY VERY nice -- This is not a repeat of the "Dream bike" thread, but similar. linnega2009-06-29 00:47:00
  9. This is a beauty - just a bit hard on the ass though
  10. Very nice - looking good. great style
  11. What do you guys think is the best or coolest road seat out there. Guess this also count for MTB - since there is no real difference in designs nowadays. In my opinion I really like Prologo seats. Got one on the MTB and still looking for my road one - saw one once, but did not get the name, still looking. Not on the website or anything. was white with black prologo all over it and there were some red as well. Not the same as the new on on their site. Most of you will prob go with Fissik airone saddle or some Sella italia like the SLR Mine is PROLOGO Give some insight on why your choice etc ASTANA2009-06-15 04:58:35
  12. Just interesting to hear. Most pro athletes go to the gym at least 2 times a week, even if its just lightweight stuff. Obviously in the off season there is more focus on building a solid base to train on. would just like to hear your views on this. With winter here, rain and cold temps in the morning my running(for cross training) is not going that good anymore. Want to go to the gym before work in the mornings and after work take the lights and MTB or Road bike depending on the weather. Job is 8-5 , want to gym at 5:30 for about a hour then I need to get back to get ready for work.
  13. Hmm. I was also in Linksfield for my fusions' date=' both lumbar and cervical, done by Dr Weinberg. I think he owes me a "good customer discount " As far as I know Linksfield is one of the few specialist hospitals for spinal injury, I really looked around for my cervical procedure but no other facility, in my opinion, came close to Linsfield dedicated spinal injury unit. I have artificial discs between L4 / L5 and between c4/ c5 / c6 - absolutely no side effects and since the op I have run 2 comrades, a few 2 Oceans marathons, and various bike races as well as doing everything I did before - 100% recovery. Actually, they are very successfull surgical procedures, and today you get a sort of swivel which they can use in place of artificial discs so you regain almost full movement, (although some medical aids wont pay for it as its a bit more expensive) which is the only real issue of artificial discs (the slight loss of movement.) [/quote'] What was wrong with you to have the op ? Mean side effects except the back pain ? My issue is not the lower back - more the stabbing pain in my legs
  14. Thanx tryboy. Yeah im 23 so hope not to have a operation on this setup. I might just have overused this a bit or something. Does the Nerve L5 relate to the cushion in the back L4 - L5 ? Read somewhere that the L5 nerve in the lower leg - from the common peronial nerve give sensation / feel to the outer calf / lateral calf area. and this is where some pain is felt, also around the fibula head where the common peronial nerve run and also some on the back of the knee/ lower part of hamstrings. Thanx again - will have it checked out
  15. anyone got ideas
  16. I did not fall or hurt anything. This just happened while cycling last year. Started to feel this stabbing pain on the side off my knee where the fibula head is and could not continue. after a day it was better and I was out there again. then some time later had it again an later it moved over and was worse on the left leg. Now its so bad - it never goes away and I stopped training / riding now for more than a month. still the pain is getting worse. I could run' date=' with no pain, but this week running also triggered this. Will see the Nero guy in a weeks time and listen to what his findings are [/quote'] That sounds like a ligament propblem from the area that you are describing. NO ligament problem no Tendon problem - the MRI of the knee and the fibula head is clean - "very nice knee" also the Xrays show a very nice normal perfect knee. Weird hey ?

  18. Cardiopractors are just weird. Been to one before, but no luck. What is that glass thing with the powder the turn in their hands over your body / pain area ? Don't know man, these guys are weird, but yes I should maby just go for "alignment" and see what pops in and if any pain is gone
  19. I'm and and feel . I've been through the lot - from ITB to xrays and MRI on the knee / side pain I am feeling on both legs from cycling. Its ever sore now, when I'm not training. Been to all the "clever people", but first need to get rid of the pain and then start training again after a bike fit at J.swart. Problem now is to be pain/sensitive free without training. The feeling is a stabbing pain on the area around the Fibula head on the lower leg and then stiffness and pain after the ride on the back of the knee and also stiffness pain on the upper calf - on the outsides. Was wondering if lower back can cause this and if so, how do one fix this. Lets say its a nerve being pinched - how do you release this ? Am working with a Orthopedic and Biokinetics / fisio. Been a while now and still no real clue what it can be. My best guess is that the Common peronial nerve is intraped somewhere or maby even from the lower back. Never had real bad backpain, but sometimes to, but the legs are always sore. Any ideas ? Seeing a Neorologist in a wees time. The last option to detect this is a CT scan, but dont really like the idea of being injected with radioactive iodine into be bloodstream. I'm in Stellenbosch/Summerset area.
  20. I have done that and they work perfectly Is it the insoles that give the valgus / angle to align the knee or should one use the insole to get the arch support and then also the shims to get the tilt ?
