Like said before. WC is one day vs a 3 week stage race! whats the odds. Some random nut who did not give his all the season might end up winning the one day race considered the WC! 3 week tour better - but cool to have the rainbow jersey ends forever! Don't think Cadel deserved the race for the Rainbow - luck ? maybe. Also unfain because not all the best riders ride in the WC

Maybe this photographer should use a bakkie and put a camera tripod on the back - this way he can take a pic of their faces and post them here. Wish I had time to drive around and report on people behaving badly. I mean this is a issue (cyclist trying to own the road) - so is taxi's driving like its their own yard and so for most of normal traffic. Just think this fall's into the "wearing a helmet" category - its your own thing if you get hit by a car of mugged and assaulted for driving in the middle of the road tough luck buddy. What pedals do you use ? I currently have some Shimano model on my XC bike. Works really well, but a combination with this and road cycling aggravated my ITB pain so I switched on road to Speedplays - more float is great. On the MTB I am thinking Crank brothers - eggbeaters - but heard that they don't like rocks - thus break easily ?? Other pedal I know that is good - Look Quartz - but not sure how it compares to the eggbeaters Thoughts ?

give me some quick info regarding these.. Obviously one fixed gear ?- so you can peddle forward and backwards ? the brake is under the seat ? how do you get on ? clipped in ? is it just balance ?

Yep - one way radio's to the team car - for wheel changes etc and 2way to other team mates - to join a breakaway - call for help water etc. This might just be the best way to start off - and if they then still feel the need to do a complete ban it would be easier from this step. Not just full radio vs No- radio

I don't like the idea of Di2 tegn. Don't know why 0 but just seems dumb at this point. Anything with batteries find a way to break and die on you when needed most. Will let "them" develop it more and do some more trail and testing. Meanwhile I'll stick to my cable shifters. The day when Campy change to electronic and and most of the teams in the tour ride these - that day I will say - o well this just might be the future
