  1. if you happy to part with your goods that's your problem. don't make it ours. we know what we have to do
  2. the law requires you to conceal it wherever you wish to carry it on your body. you wont be upping the violence of crime if you remove the threat the first time...use it lose it
  3. wheres your fan? otherwise you going too cook
  4. and all I wanted to know was where to put my holster.....so glad I didn't ask whether to use hollow points or FMJ....
  5. no incident is the same as any. the situation depicts what action and level of self defence is required. No I may not shoot him in the back but I am allowed to shoot him from getting away. on paper it may be the municipality and police job to ensure our safety , and on paper that's it.
  6. she tubeless?
  7. and all I ask was about a holster......
  8. Booswig -- you make fair comment. thanks bud.
  9. thanks mate, already do have a licence. I have had this firearm for years and its a beaut. unfortauniltly I can do nothing about the size ( Norinco)
  10. by the way, we went off topic here. all I wanted and still want is some advice on where and how to carry a holster for my firearm. hiding bodies, how many bullets one must shoot into the attackers head, im not interested in
  11. no offence taken, but we can deny it or look the other way- its going to happen whether you like it or not. and for the record should our paths every meet and you in danger, I will protect you as my fellow cyclist , whether you like firearms or not.
  12. Dogmatix - you are correct. like you said you wont see it but im not worried about that. its what happens now. no incident is the same and as much as we all say "it will never happen to me"...its when it does and what you are going to do about it. like I said earlier on, all to there own. I love my bike like I love my loved ones. its not negotionable. one must be a fool if they think the government or police is going to help you.
  13. I don't think that's going to work with me. I normally use a wide leather belt with holster but its uncomfortable plus a tad heavy. all I need is for it to fall out and euthanize some poor gun free sa soul. I was thinking more on the lines what the cash and carry security guys use where its mounted on there chest( minus bullet proof vest)
  14. im not hanging around to prove anything. picking up my bike and carrying on riding. oh and my doppies. ammo is expensive.
  15. do you put it in your jersey or underneath? I know where that shop is. thanks. and I do have a legal license, so no problems there.
  16. this is for people that own firearms and are willing to use it - where would you suggest is the best place on your body to carry a firearm in a holster( 45) and where in CT is the best place to go buy one. This is my choice and those that want to badmouth me, all to there own. The buggers want your bike, not you. I am entitled to defend myself and my property within the law and I intend doing that.
  17. Welcome to SA. While you renting a bike, dont forget to rent a firearm, flack jacket and swallow a gps so in the event you taken out somewhere, well find you. Eventually. otherwise great trails to ride on. Enjoy
  18. should have PK him here and then. You should know nothing will progress from this, so make it worth your while
  19. he found another place to tape his tube, bpmbs, gu, cellphone and banana to his banana
  20. anyone perhaps hathe mini route saved on a garmin they willing to send to me?
  21. no one here is right or wrong and its your own preference to use/dont use a firearm or simply insure your bike and live another day. Each instance is very different from the next but what i will say, the conditions out there are not and will not be getting better, and you must be happy with the outcome of your decision. Me - if the opportunity presents itself, i will fight back and if need be, shoot in self defence. Yes i do from time to time also carrry a legal firearm with me and i am prepared to use it. No im not Rambo, just another law abiding cyclist who enjoys his sport and likes to live in peace.
  22. yes. its not theirs. period.
  23. ok thanks all. i just want to regrease them at least for now. Any recommendations then for a similar pedal?
