  1. where the trail crosses over Jan Smuts and again on Barry Hertzog
  2. eggzackary!!
  3. I was having serious issues with my knees also, and the extra float in the eggbeaters sorted it out for me. Typically though, knee pain is caused by seat height or cleat position. In my case it turned out to actually be my seat which was about 6mm too low.
  4. Why don't we get Blue as an option in the survey? Ah, right, poll part 2 for more colours...DawieO2008-10-15 05:16:48
  5. Worst was the article referring to local eateries in the US somewhere!! Eish disappointing when my ex-favorite magazine has become virtually irrelevant to me.
  6. Ja, I am definitely in this time around! DawieO2008-09-12 07:31:20
  7. MAN, that is a beautiful pic! You guys are sooooooooo privileged to have that all around you! Enjoy it for all of us and thanks for sharing.
  8. No just tried the thought of someone else riding my bike. didn't go down well... With the wife the result was easy to claim, a paternity test will do that for you :-)
  9. Tried that GFishy, but the thought of buying someone to ride my beautiful carbon baby is very disturbing...
  10. Best performance spend - Wheels Best longevity spend - Gruppo Best ego stroke spend - Frame
  11. Considering the abuse we put those bikes through it's amazing that WE didn't need replacement parts!!
  12. and road and MTB!
  13. They are still around too, still making top BMX's http://www.redlinebicycles.com/
  14. MAN!! Kuwahara! I had a beautiful chrome one with blue trimmings, and those odd wheels you could straighten in the oven!!! Can you believe they still exist !? http://www.kuwaharabmx.com/ DawieO2008-08-27 23:59:02
  15. Short sighted. BMX does a great deal to attract youngsters to sport in general, and cycling specifically, in fact, myself and almost all my mates have very happy memories of cruising the streets on our Redlines, Mongooses (...geese?), Pacifics etc, and then getting together at the track on a weekend to thrash each other. Have no such memories of the Velodrome... Also, questioning the validity of the sport due to the duration of the event would also disqaulify the 100m, 200m etc. Lastly, the athletes truly are just that, Sifiso generates 2200W in his takeoff, match that.
  16. I rode the iMagic for about 2 years or so. A really great system and the telemetry is FANTASTIC! The only reason I don't use one anymore is because the gym I trained at closed down, and I certainly am not going to spend that kind of cash on an IDT... I have an Elite Crono Wireless which absolutely rocks. Mate of mine has the Tacx Flow which he also rates highly.DawieO2008-08-27 02:19:10
  17. Email of support sent.
  18. I hear you DB, but the difference being you wouldn't be swinging on the big one unless you could. Nuff said, I see your point, but the whole suing thing is just silly. I also loved that thing.
  19. So by that argument we can all do trapeze acts as long as they are on the ground?
  20. Without the rollers... http://www.totalcycling.com/index.php/product/TT_CRONO_WIRELESS.html
  21. It's not as if it was the ONLY means of crossing the river, so the argument doesn't hold. It was right next to the traditional crossing so it puts this right back to "If you can't ride it, don't"
  22. Actually you don't. The resistance is managed using your gears. I have one of these. BEST IDT EVER
  23. What we should do is rally around the guys who built this if he sues. It could be quite expensive for him, but the seesaw was a thing of great pleasure for all of us?
  24. Very much so. Signage (my coffee seems to have developed a bit of a skin on top...)DawieO2008-08-20 05:26:01
