Depends on the quality youi are after. You can get away with around R3k, but then you are not going to get anything worth watching. However, for around R9k you can get DVD quality like Greg Minnar used on that clip of him doing a downhill. Can't remember the URl, but if you Google it you'll find it.

Yep. Sidewalls are quite fragile and I ended up with gaitors and stuff on the Sani2C 2 years ago.

My mate had a similar scare in Dec, sans the violent end. We took the bikes off the carrier to go for a little Harkerville ride and the handlebar came right off in his hands! The face plate on his KCNC scandium stem had cracked right through at the bolt holes.

No it isn't. It can do both. In fact the sensor unit that does cadence is the same unit that does speed.

I have had nothing but great service from AVNIC over the years. I have had a number of GPS's including aviation and general use units, and on the rare occassions when I had issues they were always prompt and efficient and never failed to impress. The 305's seemed to be particularly problematic and I went through 3 units before upgrading to a 705. Every time they were there and willing to replace under warranty. PS, the 705 is THE BUSINESS!
