  1. Chill dude, it's done...
  2. Welcome, i trust your cave was nice n comfy... The avatars were different when this topic was posted so you're in the dark. I'll change mine again for you kay luvvie...
  3. She changed it from an unacceptably pornographic pic of madonna to what it is now...
  4. As far as anything to do with 'smut' goes, this is a cycling forum yadda yadda etc. But 6 thousand pages of religion has everything to do with cycling i guess.
  5. I race motorcross on quads, i too have ridden the very obstacle pictured in the article on my MTB and can tell u right now it would be impossible for a quad to even fit through that gap or on any of the stuff in the spruit. The article is a journalistic embarrassment...
  6. There, changed mine for all those who were offended by the 'smut'...
  7. Yeah i meant the trance, didn't read what giant he sed in the post, just saw the felt n typed a reply...
  8. Does any1 have the contact details (or know sum1 who may) for the dude on the Morewood or his mate on the Yeti who built the obstacles...? I need to chat to him about possible a solution to the problem he has with the municipality...
  9. Then PM me, will russle up the lads, with some municipal bags, a circular saw and a couple raincoats, should have things cleared up b4 u know it, and long before the cops arrive a week after you report it...MTBaaisikilist2008-05-12 10:30:35
  10. 1 times glock in shoulder holster when out alone. Even considering purposefully wearing visible gold jewelery and some R200 notes fluttering out of my pocket to weed out the motherf&*%er so i've got an excuse to rid society of the bastards...
  11. I know you sed u not keen on an AM bike, BUT just take a look at the Mongoose teocali super. They say it's an AM/XC bike, and i'll tell you right now you won't get a better spec'd bike for under 20k. FULL XT group set (even hubs), Fox rp23 shock. Just take a look... Similar type geometry to the felt and the giant anyway...
  12. I might just try sell the frame, hardtails are for people who wear lycra...
  13. Well ChrisH, you successfully summed up countless arguments i've had with countless religious people all in that one post. Do u own a copyright on that or is it fine for me to go ahead and print it on a t-shirt...?
  14. What did u pay for it...? And where's a good place to get a deal...?
  15. Looking at investing in a Polar s725x heart rate monitor. Any1 got one...? Happy with it...? Think it's crap...? Any comments...?
  16. Eish. If those are the types of rides you're looking at taking part in, i'd strongly recommend upping your budget a bit. 3 days in the saddle on an entry level bike like the trek you're looking at will have you hating your new sport in no time. Maybe not the first time, but when it starts falling apart u'll regret having to spend the money twice... An entry level bike is better suited to riding around the neighborhood now n again.
  17. I laaik verry mutch if va uvva peepil can see if i are cirkumsishind or not, espeshily when i are shopping inside of va pick and pay...
  18. In fact, i plead with all hubbers, should any1 ever catch me out on my bike or anywhere else in a lycra baaisikiling pant, PLEASE mow me down in cold blood...
  19. Or if he just bashed the cyclists who wear lycra shorts at any time other than when they're on their bikes, i think that will be fine.
  20. Nice pix williehond Tug Tug Tug Tug Tug Tug Tug...
  21. OH MY GOD...!!! The bastard just made comments about Steve Hofmeyer. Bashing cyclists is one thing, but i draw the line at talkin 'bout Steve... Seriously people, start a petition about the petrol price or load shedding or something n stop being so sensetive...
  22. Aaah CrazyFig, it all starts out with 'just a simple affordable bike to ride along the spruit with' (oh incidently the place u're talking about riding along is known to pretty much every mountain biker in gauteng as 'The Spruit'). If the bug bites you as i'm sure it will, and you find yourself booking weekends away in remote locations with the odd mtb race/event thrown in, the cheapy will soon be shelved for something better/more expensive. In the meantime, check out the latest issue of Bicycling magazine (page 80) for a review on some entry level bikes...
  23. Gun Metal will do fine... And bar mount is cool. Just dont have bottle cages on my bike (and don't want any).
  24. Hmm, R3800.00, doesn't sound too bad for what u're getting (in comparison to 'top' lighting manufacturers offerings in the same price range). Does it come in any other colours BL...? Got any pix of the mounting brackets and battery pack...? Can the battery be mounted easily to ones frame or does it only come in the water bottle set-up...? MTBaaisikilist2008-04-30 07:24:59
