    Finished my CAAD12 build and it rides like a dream. Just need some nice deep sections now.

    Nice bike, may she bring you many happy miles. I've also just got myself a Caad12 frame and will be starting my build this week now that i have received mostly all of the parts and components.

    I just recently bought the same frame and want to fit the new Ultegra R8000 groupset on it. What BB conversion kit did you use, as I’m having issues with fitting the cable guide (not enough space between the frame and BB)? I got the Praxis BB30 conversion and it doesn’t seem to be compatible with the guide that fits under the frame.

    The are two group to choose from in EL. The Eriks group that meets at 05:15 on a Tuesday and Thursday morning on the corner of Beach Road and Old Transkei Road in Nahoon. Or you can join the Tribal group in Beach Road, Nahoon. They leave at 05:00 from their shop on a Tuesday and Thursday morning and is a bit more of a relaxed pace. Both groups do around 30-40km and ride time is more or less and 1h30. Hope this helps. Enjoy your stay in Slummies.

    I feel like this will all of my cycling stuff. Cant let any of my stuff go because of the sentimental value of it. Memories of all the races i did on or with it. To someone else it would just be junk.

    I just dont understand why Movistar and BMC stopped riding to wait for Sky riders to get back after their crash??? Missed opportunity!

    Racing Knysna Cycle Tour next weekend so I’m in urgent need of some Darkhorse race wheels. At 1,195 grams these babies will make the race a whole lot faster, on the up and down. + It will just complete my bike. http://i64.tinypic.com/17febc.jpg

    Agree, works for me as well. Never had a problem since using it. Best part is that its cheap as well.

    CANYON all the way!!!! Just want to check since when don't Canyon ship to SA anymore? I emailed them in April and they came back to me stating that they do ship to SA, although its not listed on their website. But then again, with the exchange rate and all the other extra $$$$$ to get it here?

    Now that's an aero bike! Also looking at ordering a complete bike. Anyone have an idea of what it would cost with all the taxes /import duties to get it here?

    Looks like the battle of aero bikes this year. I also saw some pics of the new Scott Foil that is going to be released soon. Keen to see what each manufacture claims, as to how fast their bike is.

    Just love these guys. I think they have the best team vibe from all the pro teams and they all ride for each other. Must be so cool to ride your bike for a living and be part of a team like this.

    1C - 06:27 for me. I hope a sub 3 is on the cards this year. Missed it by 17 secs last year after starting in C. 3rd time lucky i hope.

    I just hope Paris Roubaix won’t be anything like it was in 2011. All the teams were marking a Cancellara out of the race, letting Johan Van Summeren slip away. No one was racing the race, they were racing Cancellara. "If I had stopped for coffee, they would have done the same" Wasn't nice to watch, but I suppose that’s bike racing. Go Fabian!!
