  1. Please let me know if anybody has one for sale. Thanks
  2. This. Race fever is difficult to resist. Its easy to go all out the first 20km or so, you feel strong and confident and the big tests of that ride are the climbs later on., they will punish you. Its probably going to take you over 5 hours and if you empty your tank early on, you're going to be hating your life. Pace is everything so take it easy and ride in a gear that actually feels too easy. The good thing is there is plenty of support aong the way, find some people with a similar pace and enjoy the day, you're not going to win it so just go out there to have fun and enjoy the scenery and vibe. There are no gels or magic suppplements, get a good nights sleep, stay hydrated and take in electrolytes and food that you are used to. Good luck.

    Monte Casino Classic

Good move, even if its dry on Sunday the roads will be completely stuffed from all this rain.
  4. Bike shops are all like people, give them enough time and they will inevitably disappoint you sooner or later. My problem is the inconsistency, one day you get great service and the next day appalling service. I have zero expectations from any bike shops anymore.
  5. I see you can now sync Trainerroad with Zwift, I've only heard good things about TR so I'm keen to give it a try with Zwift. Its not a cheap route considering you have to pay full price for both, keen to hear if you guys think its worth it?
  6. Thats what I've been doing too, unnecessary pain in the ass. Would love to know the real reason why the canned it, other than "strategic decisions'.
  7. Ja its completely ridiculous.
  8. but you still need to wear the device as opposed to the workout being sent direct from the trainer?
  9. Stolen: Titan Racing RS ltd RS ltd Alloy 2023 When: 01/02/2025Where: , Waterkloof Glen, Pretoria, GautengStandard alloy LTD edition with SRAM GX groupset and DT SWISS suspension. Syncros multitool water bottlecageGet further details about the incident in the Stolen Bikes section.
  10. @RobertWhitehead can you help here by any chance?
  11. I cannot belive the medical industry still use BMI as a metric, body composition is everything. Complete garbage.
  12. They're definitely driving everything around the banking side. I've also been with them for 15 years and its nowhere near what it was, they're just far more arrogant than ever. Unfortunately the competition isn't much better which puts them in the drivers seat, that and changing your products over is a major hassle.
  13. they say it won't work
  14. So can you sync a Zwift workout via Garmin then?
  15. Well I've just cancelled my Vitality memebership after they decided not to integrate Zwift with their Active Rwards programme. Its one thing to cancel it, its another to not reduce the Rewards Target, Disgusting, arrogant behaviour and now I need to find replacement products, I want nothing more ot do with them. Always wanting more and giving less.
  16. Then they must reduce out active rewards target. I'm trying to get hold of them but they seem to be inundated with queries, wonder if its about this. Clowns.
  17. Is it correct that Vitality no longer integrates with Zwift?
  18. Strictly speaking its supposed to be for braving the winter elements in the northern hemisphere, so none of us are really doing it properly anyway. But yes we should at least be doing it outdoors.
  19. When are you guys planning on doing this?

    R1m Bike

The good news is I can finance it 😁
  21. Did my 14th yesterday, another really well orgainsed event I have to say. I don't thnk we know how much planning and organisation must go behind the scenes to pull it off like this. Well done to all who rode. I hope this event continues for years to come!
  22. My Island Style did this after riding through sand roads but nothing car wax can't sort out. They're just scuff marks really.
  23. These are great because you can choose how many bikes you need it for and they're modular so you can add to them. https://www.bagbox.co.za/Tailgate-cover-revised-version-p685325492 Very happy with mine and they're made locally.
  24. If its about the goodie bag then they have zero value to me. I remember the days of stuffed goodie bags mostly with useless nonsense that I ended up chucking or giving away anyway. I pay for the organization and mainly the road closure which is generally excellent so I have no issues. But if people are looking for different bang for their buck thats their prerogative, I get it.
  25. Are we comparing this to 100km of full road closure on major roads and freeways? Surely not.
