I like the park as well - its a great spot to go train after work. Nice and safe. Weekends get a bit hectic thanks to all the kiddies but weekday evenings are fab! I have learnt a lot from the trails at the park and thanks to the variety of easy stuff, my confidence and speed has increased tremendously! In fact... I will be wearing club 100 yellow shirt with the old black shorts this arvie so see you all just after 5 today if you are going!
We spoke in person. Plus I followed up in Jan with emails. I know I blew it today with my comments but hey, after reading about a sponsorship when I had already met with you in person kinda makes for a grumpy hubber. That said, I will gladly retract any and all statements made if need be.

Hey Johan, thanks for sorting out my wheel!! Turns out the darn wheel was not built right and was in a mess. Johan took the time to replace and true the wheel!! Its worth a mention when someone takes time out of their day to help another person! Thanks a million and I hope you enjoyed the chocolate.
Hey Cyclone: Ignore these guys!! I am also a roadie - love the feel of tar under my wheels. Recently I started mtb and I am hooked! You need to be prepared to ride slower - mtb nuts are just slow. But getting out there in the open is amazing. Go with Martin - sure he can help you get into it. Come up to Jozi and we can take you to a few interesting spots. Mtb is about relaxing and having a blast whilst blasting along a piece of singletrack then getting hammered by an uphill and then hammering down a shweet downhill! Dont give up - mtb is not about the sweat and tears its about letting loose.
