  3. I have added the ally shoe shields, best money I have spent. Cleats feel more secure and it saves my carbon soles. The plastic ones don't last. I have these pedals on all my bikes and have bought some for my mates all happy.
  4. Hi All, Kevin Perkins aka Michael Naiker (@kperkins12472) was also jacked last week in Midrand. Not sure what bike he owned.... I have sent him a tweet, so maybe u want to sync with him if you find his bike. G
  5. Errr not really dude..... that's assuming everyone get's the same time!
  6. Started in A5 last year, but A3 this year. Had no congestion. Suggestion.... ride/train harder and get a better seeding Otherwise rather stay away - at the end of the day ANY cycle race over 1500 entries has congestion of some sort. I enjoyed the route and thought it was one of the best events I have ever ridden. I look forward to riding the permanent MTB route in 2009, once Century are have completed the Estate.

  9. checked the website out. The blue one with the Crankbrother rims is just PORN!!!
  10. Gav - long time no hear! Nice looking bike esp the blue one. What's the chance of bringing to Northern Farms on Sat. A bunch of us there for a ride and one or two in the market for new bike..... Give Stu a call to arrange or get my number from him. G
  11. measure the total stroke and then as Mampara says 20-30% to start off with. so if it is a shorter shock i.e. 50-60mm, when you sit with all your weight the shock should only "sag" around 15-20mm..... if it is too much then just pump to suit..... The Rebound (red) nob should be turned to suit your riding style. Start in the middle - count the clicks from Soft min to hard max and divide by 2. Happy riding
  12. Yes big up I was one of those customers there on Saturday. Shamus helped me after my big clumsy foot bent the egg beater section of my Candy SL's - he fixed it in no time, no fuss. He also helped me out at Sani2C when he saw that I was missing an end cap. I was so chuffed on Sat I upgraded my OE Smarties to 2x sets of Candy C's - one for the wife and one for my hard tail...... Go Shamus - good after sales service goes a long way when trying to win market share! Soon Crank Brothers will take over the world CrazyGoose2009-04-28 14:19:04
  13. that was just a short insert - wait for the full program which should be around an hour for each of the races (Adventure & Race).
