  1. in the grand scheme of things, ie as far as the universe is concerned, you are enormously insignificant. in terms of your OWN life, in your own bubble, obviously that's a different story. Your wellbeing matters to you, and certain other people. People who identify with you, and who know you, care about you. Emotion exists. But it doesn't make you significant in terms of your impact on the universe as a whole. To someone on the other side of the world, you don't matter at all. You are insignificant. We are all made of dead stars, and obliterated planets. EDIT: It's a philosophical argument, and a tremendously humbling realisation, when you realise just how small you are compared to the vastness of it all. In other words, make your own experiences the best you can. Don't worry about other people, who affect you negatively. Give joy to those you love, and love those who give you joy. Tell the rest to fkoff, 'cos it's not worth devoting time to those who try to drag you down. But - you are insignificant, in the grand scheme of things.
  2. Nice amount of projection going on there, dude. Seems you may be in need of a bit of introspection.
  3. good, for the most part. Not finalised yet, as her witnesses need to initial each page and sign int eh correct places, and they're away at the moment. So it's hit a temporary roadblock, but I'm still pressing forwards with the process. Financially - meh. VERY tight budget now, as in nothing... but I'm happier. MUCH happier.
  4. Yep. It's how Argentinian bbq is sometimes done, with large and / or fatty cuts. Radiant heat rather than direct.
  5. Mine, passed out at a restaurant when he was but a year old, when we were caught without the pram.
  6. that is just insane. Kids that "can only sleep in their beds" 'cos the parents are too slapgat to attempt something different. Results in a whole boatload of problems later, IMO.
  7. You can get over that pretty easily, if you're creative. Indirect heat for worsies, last night's leftovers, SLEEP TRAINING (DO IT, really... it's SO worthwhile!) and a few other little things allow you to braai normally. Problem comes in with friends who have kids with picky sleeping habits (thanks to the parents, mainly)
  8. Einaaaaaaaa.... That looks properly roff. On the way up to Napier this weekend, there were FOUR accidents by the time we'd hit the back end of the Pass. People get stupid.
  9. There's just one marshal that I can think of, personally...
  10. That's about right. Expect a total racing time of about 20 - 30 min tho. ????
  11. bull****. You def have the skills to race there. Do the early session so climbing won't matter as much. Just listen to your wife for once and enter!
  12. Saying that, he'd have to change his riding style again. Bikes of that era had much higher COG's and far lower corner grip thanks to the tyres of the generation.
  13. except Rossi.... Had to be said.
  14. Lol. I prefer the back. Cooler. But no, I'm not who he's referring to.
  15. Bingeing Breaking Bad ATM. Why did I stop after s2
  16. Nope, I just know what it is. Don't have it myself, but one afternoon I just thought WTF is that, and watched the trailer on STEAM.
